Matchbox Bangkok Hostel

The staff were really accomodating and helpful. We reached around 2: 00 AM and they patiently opened the doors multiple times when we knocked. The doors are locked from 00: 00 mid night to 7 AM. They helped with my visa printouts also. The rooms are really clean but the space is a bit tight. Washrooms are provided with soap and shampoo and are really clean.

Decent place if you want to only spend nights here and days roaming the streets exploring the city.

Really clean and quite place! The beds are so comfy and there is a tv in each capsule! If privacy is important for you and you don’t want to pay a high amount of money for an hotel definitely recommend this place!

The location is ok, relatively clean. Receptionist could be friendlier at least. The worst thing is the heat. It's just too hot inside that box

Overall good. The bed and its area are kept clean. The bathrooms however were out of soap and shampoo.

I won't recommend this, rigid staff, most of the things what they show on travel portals do not work. They are not at all cooperative.

Located on soi 24. Adjacent to 7-11 store. Plenty of good restaurants & street food. Close by to the bts phrom phong. Walkable distance to Mall & to MRT. Location, price & food make it a wonderful place to stay.
Private TV in business accommodation. Pleasant staff.

The room itself was nice, but the room temperature was WAY too hot, not enough ventilation made it stuffy and uncomfortable. Checked out of previous hotel at 12, and wrote my expected arrival as 11-12, but room wasn't ready still for 2 hours, so had to wait. Staff was okay, not really friendly, but not rude either.

It's just great.the staff are amazingly friendly.the beds are comfortable and it's one of the few hostels that come with a TV and Duvet within your cubicle.there's a washing machine and drier upstairs as well as various kitchen appliances.computer, free wifi and depending on your pace, 5 minutes walk to Phrom thong BTS Station.

Did it for the experience. Will not be doing it again. Air conditioning on a schedule. Bad smell in common area. Picture on the web is very dated, lappa rundown and needs attention. Not many people to meet. Good for one night only I guess.
