Maduzi Hotel

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff were amazing. The rooms were wonderful.wayyyy nicer than expected. Linen was especially lovely. Only downside (if it matters to you) is that the pool is on the ground floor so no roof top pool. For me, the loveliness of the room and great breakfast made up for it. PS most flexible breakfast times I've come across. A big plus.

Excellent hotel choice with interesting decor. Only downside is road side might get super noisy with those idiotic modified car exhaust.

Location - within 10mins walk from BTS. Use asoke exchange escalator to get up to the bridge to BTS.

Rooms - huge spacious room with a free minibar.comes with a jacuzzi (although it takes 30mins to fill for it to work, and the pressure is meh. Good for bubble bath)

I couldn't figure out how to adjust the shower temperature so that's the only down for me. Basin is a interesting design but not very functional

There's a "walk in" wardrobe as well

Price - great for the size you get

Breakfast - ala carte quality choices. Bacon done surprisingly well.

Service - staff are all polite and helpful

There's street food on the weekdays, delicious skewers and nice coffee lady on the street in the morning for the office crowd.

I don't think it's a bad choice for people to enjoy staying in larger rooms for a cheaper price.
The appearance of the hotel looked creepy, but it is not a bad choice

The room is spacious and nice! Because it's next to the main street, you can't help but hear the noise of cars and loud motorcycles, but you can't hear any other noise. It was great to spread out our luggage and stay, and the bed was really soft. The bathroom was very spacious. The shower was fixed at the top, and the bathtub was a bit noisy because water dripped from the top, and it took a long time, but I used the bathtub well. The indoor slippers are in the form of flip-flops, so it's a good idea to bring a pair of slippers that you'll just wear.

The location is really good. If you go out the back door, there is a 7-Eleven convenience store right in front, and if you go down the opposite side, there are restaurants, a supermarket to buy supplies, and a pharmacy. It's about an 8-minute walk to Asok Station, and it's also convenient to get to Terminal 21.

We had breakfast every day, it was long and the menu was varied. Be sure to try the yogurt and Thai style soup! The restaurant is delicious, but please keep in mind that it is not open for dinner.

The swimming pool is about 4 to 5 times the size of a bathtub, but I didn't really want a swimming pool, so I wasn't concerned. It was a great stay, and I would like to stay at this hotel next time I travel to Thailand.

The exterior looks old, but the room is definitely big and nice.
There is no noise and it is private. Breakfast is very delicious.
However, there was no shower, so it was a bit inconvenient to wash. The sink structure was also strange. Everything was good except for washing.

Stunning property - definitely qualifies for small leading hotels in the world - 40+ rooms - the design is very unique and every single furniture has been hand selected and is super comfy especially the lazy chairs. Also the bedding sheets and material is unique. Everything you see when you walk in is designed. Breakfast is a la carte and all meals we have tried are very tasty. It’s not quantity but excellent quality. Will surely be back. Ideally when you visit the exhibition center down the road which is a 10-12 minutes walk. Enjoy

Great little bar in a nicely presented hotel. Happy hour is from 5 to 8 Monday to Friday: 2-4-1 cocktails, wine, and beer. Had a delicious whiskey sour and old fashioned. Looks like they have a nice restaurant too with a 390B/490B three course lunch special which I will definitely try. Recommend trying this place out.

Enjoyed the jacuzzi in the hotel room but i did not like the pillows provided at all. It was way too soft for us to have a proper night of rest. The fixed shower head is also what deters me from staying in this hotel again in future. Service from staffs was alright, not the best but still acceptable.

The bed was huge. I didn't even know beds could be that big (an Alaskan king).
The free mini bar is nice, but not much. A package of chips, a package of nuts, and some juice and water.
Close to the metro station and restaurants.
The hotel did seem a bit overly designed. For example, the floors, instead of numbers, were the letters of the name of the hotel. The lighting was really dim in some places.
Wash cloths were not provided by default, but they had them if you asked (had to ask every day).
The bathtub was really nice and bath salts were provided.

The location is super convenient nearby both MRT and BTS, easy to reach almost everywhere of the city. All staff are friendly and help. The hotel offers a flexible check-in/ check-out time and also serve breakfast before 13: 30. We get a upgrade room at 4th floor. However, the upgrading big room is noisy especially sounds from the streets in the midnight.

Excellent hotel, the room was pleasent, comfortable and clean. The breakfast had quite a lot of choices to select from and was served until way later than usual (last order at 13: 30).

The room and it's unique shape and layout made me feel like I was living in a cool apartment in the city.

The location was also great, with a 7/11 really close for any emergency, the sky train not too far and in general, a lively area with a lot going on.

My only complaint is that the shower floor has the potential of being a bit slippery.

I love everything of this hotel (except for the shower that I will tell you later)

- Location: excellent, close to tourists area, easy to access both Metro and BTS (green line)

- Price: very affordable with the services such as: breakfast to serve until 1.30pm, free minibar with soft drink, milk, fruit, water, coffee and tea.

- Spacious room and nice design, very comfortable bedding

- Breakfast is brilliant with many options from bread, fruit, yogurt, fruit, main course (about 10 options) tea or coffee

- Nice and supportive staff

I have been in BKK for many times but never want to back to any hotel again before. However, Maduzi is definitely my hotel for BKK stay anytime in the future.

P/s: regarding the shower, they have jacuzzi (I don’t know how to use, too busy to go out so I don’t ask) but maybe it is the reason why hot water is so cool and take time to have hot water. The ceiling shower doesn’t work well, a bit weak water flow and you definitely wet even you do not need shower every time you want to use water.

I had to do 2 weeks quarantine in Bangkok and Maduzi made it the least painful possible. The room was quite large, a suite with separate office area. 3 recliners! Stereo speakers. Kitchen/dining room area. Food was very tasty with a choice of Thai, Western and healthy/vegetarian at every meal. Substitutions allowed. Very friendly and gracious staff. Can highly recommend Maduzi for your quarantine stay

Affordable brunch set at the restaurant of Ma Du Zi hotel. Brunch set comes with bread, juice/coffee/tea, dessert and a main course I think

Maduzi rocks. Indeed Bangkok's best kept secret. What works is definitely the location just next to Asok BTS. Next to plethora of shopping and eating options and also next to an amazing outdoor recreational park, cafes and 7/11s right on the doorstep. The staff is superb under the able management of Jo. Courteous, kind and always wanting to help and engage. Rooms are amazing. They are like a studio with a kitchenette, walk-in wardrobe and spacious bathroom and washroom area makes your stay not just worth staying but also value for money. It's affordable luxury at best. Also the early check in and late checkout (4pm) and à la carte delectable breakfast is served until 2pm so no more rushing in the morning. At Maduzi everything works to make your stay worth it's while. I travel to Bangkok 2-3 times in a year and I know where I would be staying hereon. It was by fluke and circumstances that I had to book at Maduzi this time around as the hotel I usually stay in couldnt provide me my favorite room. But boy I have discovered the hotel extraordinary!

The hotel is great. Very well located. The decor is very unique and the rooms are a good size with all the amenities you’d expect.

Lovely staff, extremely flexible and nice. If you want a big hotel this is not for you. If you want a boutique hotel with nice rooms, book here. A hotel that let's you check out at 6pm with no extra charge deserves much respect.

If you happened to have a flight that reaches before the check in time and you don't plan to go anywhere else with your luggage, this is the hotel you need to go.as long as there's avaliability and informing them beforehand, they will allow you to have advance check in.and i mean a few hrs before! Same goes to checking out.the staffs are friendly and helpful.i would totally recommend anyone to stay in this hotel if they visit BKK.
