Great Restaurant for Western Cuisine. Super friendly and welcoming service. Beautiful decor. A cosy restaurant I can only recommend.

Great restaurant with a super nice host and good western food. A secret and calm spot in a busy town like Bangkok. It is worth a visit!

- Pasta Beef Stroganoff
อาหารรัสเซีย แต่เอาให้เข้าใจง่ายๆคือ พาสต้า เนื้อผัดซอสข้น
คุณภาพและการผัดเนื้อ ทำได้ดี ความอร่อยของเนื้อที่ผ่านการผัด และ รสชาดจากคุณภาพเนื้อ มาครบ
ตัวซอส ความเข้มข้นออกมากำลังพอดีมากๆ นอกจากจะไม่ข้นจนอึดอัดเหมือนหลายๆร้านแล้ว ยังลื่นปากจน ทำให้เรากินไม่หยุดอีกด้วย
เส้น เป็นการทำแบบ อัลเดนเต้ ซึ่งคิดว่าน่าจะเหมาะสมที่สุดแล้ว กับระดับความข้นของซอส และ สู้ได้กับ รสสัมผัสของเนื้อ ครับ

- สตูว์เนื้อ แบบ เบลเยี่ยม
ทำได้เข้มข้นและกลิ่นดีมากครับ (เข้าใจว่าเป็นเบียร์ที่ถูกเบิร์นออกจนหมด) เมนูนี้ชอบใจมาก เพราะกินหลายที่ ชอบทำสตูว์อ่อนไปจนกลายเป็นเหมือนกินแกง หรือ เลี่ยนไปจากไขมันที่เยอะเกิน

- สตูว์ลิ้นวัว มีไม่กี่ร้าน ที่ทำอาหารประเภทสตูว์ได้ออกมาเข้มข้นแต่ไม่เลี่ยน และ มีไม่กี่ร้านที่ทำลิ้นวัวออกมาได้รสสัมผัสที่ แฟนๆลิ้นวัวจะต้องถูกใจอย่างแน่นอน (กัดขาดง่าย และ เด้งสู้ฟัน)

- Pizza แป้งทำได้ดีและมีรสชาติ (ต่างจากร้านอื่นๆที่แป้งไม่มีรสแถมหนาจนอึดอัด) ชอบหน้า มะเขือเทศกับหัวหอม และ หน้า madrid (เนื้อสับ)
สำหรับผู้ที่ชอบกิน Pizza ยังไงต้องมากินที่นี่ให้ได้ครับ น่าจะคุ้มค่าการเดินทาง.

The only remaining legendary bar hangout of Jack Shirley and Tony Poe numerous CIA and NSA operatives black ops and Air America pilots. All you have to do is see the pictures on the walls. Everything is as it was 50 years ago. It's living history with friendly non pushy staff and great food. The front door is always closed but those who know its the place to go find one of the true gems of Bangkok history.

Tasty thin crust pizza I had but their menu shows many interesting meals that will definitely bring me back here again.
Staff is very welcoming.

I have been to this place continuously for years as it provides one of the best Thai and International food in this area.

During the pandamic, the restaurant still opens (although less customers) and the owner still keep the food quality at its top.

Madrid is a restaurant full with history. Unique and worth to come.

Charming little pub.

People would drink here much more often if they served pints and at the same price as the Irish pubs.

I honestly fear that the old, historical, classic Thai beer bars will put themselves out of business if they don't get a keg and start serving pints at a competitive price.

This pub isn't too bad actually - 80 baht small bottle is OK- the other Patpong beer bars are 120+ (no wonder they are quiet).

Anyway, please serve draught pints at 100 - you'll get the customers!

Interesting place with a shady history. It feels strange to have a drink here, sitting on a table and wondering how many deaths were plotted in the seat you are sitting in.

Historic bar in Patpong! This bar has been going for 50 years, and has some great photos around the bar. We went for lunch, had the special, small pizza, salad and soft drink for 199 baht, it was great.

Amazing staff. Very caring and attentive. Had kids with us and it was a perfect spot to duck into while visiting Patpong market. Food was excellent. Best burger I've seen lately. My beef with spicy sauce was perfectly cooked. Youngest was quite happy with french toast and bacon for dinner. Bar was full of history and a great vibe. Would love to go back on a weekend sans kids.

Cool bar with friendly staff. The pizza is fair enough, the beer cold and overall if feels like in the good old days.

Any time a great place to have Farang food and Thai food. Daily lunch menu for great value.

Went here twice over the past week or so based on the good reviews.

The good reviews are well deserved. Authentic Patpong bar / diner with tasty and very reasonably priced food. Good pizzas.

Very nice cooking at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately they always have TV on which is annoying
