Koken Sushi & Dining Bar

I got poisoned yesterday. I feel so bad right now that my vacation is not going according to plan at all. I thought that in Thailand there was always fresh fish, but that was not the case. I don’t recommend it, you can’t even imagine how I didn’t leave the toilet yesterday.so it's better not to come here

Absolutely loved this place and miss it a lot! I would often just tell the chef what to make for me. I was never disappointed!

อาหารอร่อยดี แมวเยอะ น่ารัก แถมเค้าอนุญาตให้นั่งกินในห้องประชุมเค้าด้วยนะเออ ไปกินทีไรในโซนห้องแอร์เจอพรี่ๆหุ้นส่วนร้านนั่งคุยธุรกิจกันลั่นตลอด ไม่รู้ฟลุ๊คจัดๆหรือมันเป็นห้องประชุมจริงๆ งอง วันไหนอากาศดีไปกินได้นะ นั่งข้างนอกดูแมว สั่งปลาเยอะๆจะได้มีแมวมาเดินดมๆ น่ารัก ถ้าอากาศร้อนฝุ่นเยอะก็เอาไว้ก่อนก็ได้ จะได้ไม่ต้องไปรบกวนเขาคุยงานกัน

Nice atmosphere and great sushis. The restaurant has a nice outdoor area, it is very chill to enjoy a dinner with friends or a date.
They also have a nice choice of food and drinks. The service is ok, the place feels very homie and simple.
Their price are reasonable for the location.

I recommend giving it try for a chill evening.

Decent quality with some menu being especially good such as Ankimo and those on special promotions. The soba was good. Overall, a bit on the pricey side for the quality for the rest of the menu.

Cozy atmosphere, with welcoming staff and owner. But fairly small with no official parking.

Enjoyed very good dinner here. In a quiet side street, you can eat outside with laid-back live music on the night we were there (Sunday) or air conditioned inside. Huge variety, good prices, excellent service. Recommend.

We loved this restaurant so much that we went here twice during our time in Bangkok. Highly recommend! The sushi is fresh and delicious. We loved the refreshing roll and the torched salmon with miso. The avocado salad was delicious and so was the miso eggplant. The staff is lovely and Ken is super friendly. We consider ourselves ‘sushi snobs” so for us to come twice means it was really good! Enjoy!

I visited this Sushi at Sathorn road in Summer 2019 - as I am a non local, just a holiday trip to my favorite city.

I still have the pictures, awesome Sushi, ice cold Kirin draft beer, real wasabi. This is one of the spots I will remember when I visit Bangkok this year.

Very respectful work with fish and seafood. Noticeably good quality. Always pleasant trip of tastes and textures.
Highly recommended for those who love to discover new tastes.

Good neighbourhood option for sushi, rolls and standard japanese food. Sushi and sashimi were fresh, the rolls were a bit messy. Prices were fair for the area.

Very good restaurant. Sushi, sashimi where wonderfull very fresh. The rest of the food was very good too

Decent sushi bar, recommend Refreshing roll. Beer a but pricey though, also I advice you serve it in the "ice" glass that's real JP style)

What a gem! I’m from California and this place has a huge selection of yummy California style rolls. The ones I tried were very delicious! The owner actually lived in California for many years. Quality was excellent. Nice chill vibes on a tucked away backstreet. Really enjoyed this place, will definitely be back!

NOTE: the owner has 4 cats there that are very hungry! They were desperately begging from the guests. He needs to feed them more!

Best restaurant in the district, great food and ambiance, I particularly recommend Ken's signature salad, absolutely delicious.

Not much people here, The food was fine but a little bit high price even with discount. Good atmosphere for dating and family.

Really good salmon sushi, but even compred to European standards (in big cities) a bit pricey.we didn't like the rolls so much, but that was probably just a personal taste thing. Quality was fine. Minus 1 star because the ambience wasn't really enjoyable. Can't say why exactly, because the waiter was friendly and cool, but in general it felt stiff and not relaxed at least.

Sushi was fresh, beer was cold on tap and served in frosted mugs, and the staff were extremely friendly (and spoke English). Ken roll, Milano roll, and refreshing role below! Takes credit cards.
