Kalanbatu Bar reviews
20 Great atmosphere reggae bar
The boss is very welcoming staff music leave every evening reasonable price
Fantastic place! Beautiful peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, service is super nice, music is perfect, great crowd! All around just beautiful here!
Great experience such a chill vibe and good energy so we have came back again and will keep coming
It's a fun place to get a couple of decent cocktails and listen to the live music. It's busy and a good atmosphere without the craziness of Khoasan
This is probably our favorite place ever! Nothing beats this vybe. My boyfriend and I came last year and enjoyed the music and this year we needed to come back and enjoy it again. The music and the people are amazing. Highly recommend!
If your around khaosan road, but the music and noise is too much, the parallel street is way chiller and fun.
There was this reggae bar with live music, was the crowded one of the street, found a table and proceed to enjoy the show
The people working there where on fire, played cool music and make the vibe super fun
Around the famous khaoSan road, this bar has live music.and chill vibes, great for an evening of drinks and good times for sure.definitely stopby for a drink or two.great Reggae music.
The live reggae music really caught our attention to come here, the prices are high compared to other bars around and the service it is below average there’s a weird atmosphere with all the waiters going on and some of them are quite unfriendly. The live music is what makes the vibe truly divine. They didn’t had juices not even lemonade.
Been there a few times and they always had really cool live reggae music and good cocktails. You don't really know who's working there because the staff just hangs out in different corners but they were all super friendly:)
Very chill bar to hang out. Away from the noises of Khao San but still in the middle of the action.
A really nice reggae bar. The staff is very observant and quick. And they are honest! If you pay too much by mistake, they will correct it immediately. Live music and good mood! Been here twice. Both times we stayed until it closed!
Great vibes with super reasonably priced drinks. Would recommend if you want to be out and about in the evenings, but somewhere less chaotic than Khao San Road!
The best bar in Bangkok. The music is great. More than that, we left our coats behind one night and the staff kept them safe for us. Just all round amazing people. Thank you!
Talented musicians that play a wide range of instruments. If you love ska and reggae and want to dance the night away this is the best place to do so in Bangkok. And now in addition to drinking, you can smoke weed here too!
They claim to be able to cut mens hair and to shave beard - they don’t even own a razor! I had a terrible cut and am now bleeding.
Ariya haircut (Kalanbatu bar is in front during the evening) is fantastic. I had my hair straightened with great results. More economical than others and the staff is lovely and friendly.
My husband and Came in for a haircut and I did a color here. Arita was very meticulous and a ultimate professional and her experience was evident. It’s a small little haircut place located in a tourist heavy area but their prices are reasonable and honest and that is appreciated. That is why I recommend the ladies here highly.
Nice kind of pop-up place on the street with live music and cold beer, but unfortunately no toilet. When I walked in next to them in a place the women was so aggressively shouting and asking money despite of the fact that I was drinking beer there.
So whatever if you go drinking there be aware that you can not pee or only under shouting.
Khaosan road is a must on your Bangkok trip and Kalanbatu Bar is definitely a must see! Cocktail are amazing, music is faszinating and reggae culture at it's best! Bangkok visitors have to stop here!
