Excellent meal, Beef Wellington superb, my wife loved her stone fish or snow fish or whatever it was called. Nice break from the normal fare around these parts. Older style decor and vibe but I think it's intentional.

Beef tenderloin was cooked to medium perfection, mushroom sauce was exquisite and made me wish I used it more frugally on meat and spread to side dishes, pasta was a bit bland but the crème brûlée was worth an unexpected airport layover

Hands down the best French Restaurant in Bangkok. I’ve travelled all over France and this ranks up with some of the best food without being pretentious about it. Excellent value and service.

A small cozy establishment that serves excellent French cuisine. I usually return for their Beef Tartare.

If you plan to visit by car, you may park at the Young Place's parking lot located about 300m away.

Service not friendly
The only one waitress not show welcome since we go inside the restaurant while it's totally empty. Cannot found our booking until we show her the booking message. No introduce the food on the menu. Not show us the lunch set menu until we asked. Arrange the seat is the hottest area for us while she knows this problem. Food portion is big enough.

The atmosphere was good. Service was fantastic. Food was excellent. We truly enjoyed our dinner at JP French restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place for their Beef Wellington, Fried Frog Legs, Beef Tartare, Escargot and for dessert we had Creme Brulee, Ice Nougat washed down with their House wine. Cost THB 5530 for a family of 4. A Truly amazing French dinning experience tucked away in Bangkok. Great Job to the Owner, Chefs n Staff.

I visited your restaurant yesterday for lunch with my family. This is my first visit.

The food is just OK, portion is big (compared with other French restaurant)

But the service is poor, there is ONLY one lady waitress, we were ONLY one table of guest until we left. The waitress kept long/black face since we stepped in the restaurant until we left.

We told her we made booking once in, she asked us ; "How you book", I showed her mobile. Then she said OK unwillingly after read.    TOTALLY not welcome us, seemed we gave her trouble.    NO Smile, No welcome words, no recommendations.it's feeling BAD.   The restaurant is very very hot, we requested to adjust aircon, she said CANNOT. (ONLY ONE TABLE!)

Had an excellent meal at JP's. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced (for French cuisine). Service was solid and the conversation and vibes were welcoming and relaxed. Will come back. This spot should be full every night but luckily no wait was required.

Great rustic restaurant that serves up delicious French cuisine! A French native vouches for this place and he was on the money! The food was excellent and the owner is friendly. Had the steak tartare, foie gras, and duck confit. No complaints on any of them! Highly Recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at JPs tonight. We went for an evening meal to celebrate our 20 th wedding anniversary.
His food was absolutely beautiful. I had smiked Salmon to start and Ribeye cooked to perfection with the best Dauphinoise potatoes. He asked the chef to cook something not on the menu for my wife because she was vegetarian and she really enjoyed her food also.
He introduced us to his family who also worked there.
I would highly recommend paying JP a visit if you want French food in Bangkok. Great guy. Great food.

On a visit to Bkk a french friend had recommend your restaurant.
What a bad surprise i had.
The tartare had no flavor, don't really seems like a real French tartare.
The wine is very expensive for the quality offer.
You have the chance to hold a restaurant in thailand, you can at least use fresh spinach leave and not what you served us, especially for the high price that you have.
I didn't take more pictures on my visit because i usually take some when i have a good time!

Certainly the worst french restaurant i did the last 10 years in Bkk.
Heard about Jp for long time but we never had a chance to try it.
To start our dinner we had some really poor quality of cold cut and was slice way to thick! Not enjoyable to eat.
Being in a french restaurant you except a nice quality of bread, they bring us bread who was even worse then what you can get in Big C.
The tartare as nothing of a tartare! Look like the meat was mixed with a mayonnaise sauce.there was no tabasco, no shallots, no cornichon and more ingredients missing. Very dissapointed!
The waitress is nice but don't understand much of what she's doing. We order some lamb chop pink and she bring it medium well. When we complain she say that we should ask for our lamb chop rare, quiet surprising!
The wine list is very disappointing for french restaurant.all the bottles under 3000 baht are not really attractive and otherwise way over price.
And to finish the owner stay at is counter talking to is friend all evening but never take the time to go upstairs to take care of his customers.maybe to much exercise?
