I remember Jim Thompson many many years ago, smallish shop packed with the highest quality items. Used to be a fantastic place for gifts. Now the shop is HUGE but hardly any items Was disappointed!
Large shop with an extensive array of beautiful Jim Thompson silk products. A visit to the Jim Thompson House & Museum would be the best way to understand the history behind these items, but if shopping is more your style then don't miss this one.
After a few decades of accumulating wisdom, I've come to reach the assumption that "shirts" are just shirts. But, if you'd like to get a silk, cotton, or linen shirt for someone you care about- to wear & loving it (especially for XXL size), then, you ought to come find them here, at Jim Thompson's.
Though, it's my 1st time buying, the staffs are very hospitable & gave me all the info I need, to pick the right stuffs. Personally, I am not to keen to come into the city just for this, but, this location is still the most viable choice, since it is the closest to & from my places.
Lovely designs. The men's ties are incredibly short (possibly so that they can increase their profit margin) - make sure you check the size!
If you're looking for Jim Thompson's house: it's not here, this is a shop selling his products. Make sure you get a VAT refund as a tourist. I really like the ties here.
