We were there during the beer market event. Very convenient to go to, get off at Kamphaengpetch MRT station exit 2, it takes around 3-4 mins walking to JJ Plaza. There are toilets, however, it costs 3 baht (per time) to use the toilets there. If you drive, you can park your car at Bangsue conjuction building aka "ตึกแดง".

Opens one day a week. The market is very big but one day shopping is limited. I advise not to go to it

Huge weekend market in Bangkok. You can walk here whole day, eat, buy everything what you want, good price, nice atmosphere.

Shipping stalls are available to send things home, direct to family and friends so you don't have to carry it with you. Best to see as much as possible before loading up because it'll be cheaper in the next few stalls.
No need to travel the entire country, everything has been brought here for you. Best to go in the morning before it gets hot, because if it's hot outside its Eben hotter, really hot out here. There's a park nearby to cool off, and the skytrain is just on the other side of the park. No need for a taxi or car, parking is exceptionally difficult even in the garage so just take the skytrain.

The place is full of traces of life! 사람들이 사는 생생한 모습을 보고 싶다면 가라. If you want to see the vivid images of people's lives, you go.

Really good market. Cheapest in Thailand. Sometimes Indra market of Bangkok is there, but overall it is better.

Awful. A lot if people buying and selling everything, but almost no local specifics. Very exhausting spot, avoid it unless you really need to get something there.

Pricey. The pricey end for rich people things, like giant gates, giant wooden horses, real jade bands, real stone beads (as in quartz, jade, etc rather than plastic). Art galleries, and also pet shops. It was fun for a look around but i felt very intimidated in my exceptionally sweaty shorts and T-shirt having just wandered chatuchak market for 3 hours.
