Iron Balls Distillery & Bar

Came with my friend, it was a unique place, ambience was very custom made and had a steam punk vibe on the back and a grungy feeling on the front while exuding a classy vibe. Welcoming staff, drinks were tasty, chicken karaage wasn't spicy, I tried the gin and tonic and it was also nice. They have an in-house dj too.

Docking 1 star for 2 reasons
a) i felt the PR staff servicing the American on the left was laughing way too often and loudly (I know it's her job to be positive but do be greng jai about other customers), so we went to the back for a more intimate experience. The back area had better seats and a nicer ambience.b) I think it's slightly expensive relative to other local cocktail bars, 17% taxes on top of the menu. Maybe would be better if they can make the taxes inclusive. I'm paying a tip to staff as I normally do on top too, so it kind of adds up. But it's acceptable considering the quality of this place.

Very cool interior, excellent drinks. But… add your 17% in tax and service charge and you’re paying London prices. Good on the Aussie owner if he can rake it in like this, but pretty sure he’s not paying London business rates. A bit cheaper and we’d have happily had another round. Otherwise happy to head back to London and pay the same price for, sorry, better gin!

Very nice bar, good atmosphere. Not the best place to have a conversation as the music is very loud. Drinks are good.

Top quality cocktails. Prices are $11-14 but the drinks would beat all but the best cocktail bars in any city. Great atmosphere. Was empty at 1930 on a Monday but didn’t stop us at all.

It’s a little hard to find after dark since the entrance is behind plants. In hindsight it’s very clear what the entrance was though.

the only con is that was a male waiter was really bad attitude.

Came with a couple of friends and it was quite an interesting experience. The in-house distilled gin ironball was refreshing and paired well with the salted popcorn. Came at night and the place was dimly lit and romantic, with cozy sofa seatings. Music selection was good but could have been softer.

Treasure Bar in Bangkok, I’ve tried many cocktail bars in here and finally I found the one for me and will come back often.

As always an awesome place to have their famous house special. Now, that is until the music goes bat crazy - the fun is lost as the decibles hurt you. Wish it didnt have to turn into a discotheque.

Fancy bar with interesting interior.
Gin itself is good and gin tonic was also nice, however this gin itself and the gin tonics served are too overpriced for what they are.
Cocktails mediocre, popcorn served with drinks is inappropriate snack that does not go well with the drinks served.

Waiting next holidays to fly to Bangkok and come here again!

Really cool place for drinks. The interior is very smartly designed and a consistent and really cool theme. The drinks are delicious, atmosphere is nice with plenty of seating options, and the DJ was banging out some excellent hip hop. Staff were all extremely friendly, especially Ottoman, and the owner was very cool. Highly recommend to visit this spot when in Bangkok

Utterly disappointing experience. Made a reservation 3 weeks in advance. Had high expectations for the bar, and the decorations are nice when entering the bar. However, there was a private party held at that time and there was flash photography everywhere. No matter where I looked, I was blinded by flash and could not even enjoy a conversation with my partner. We ordered 2 drinks but had to rush to finish as we could not stand the flashes.

It was irresponsible of them to even accept our reservation knowing there is a party going on, making everyone else very uncomfortable.

This is a very cool bar hidden in a retail mall in Sukhumvit was an unexpected surprise. The cocktails were delicious and the service impeccable. But the general vibe and decor really make this place stand out from the rest.

Good cocktails at a premium price. Cozy place with little nooks where you can have a good semi-private conversation and the music isn't too loud. This was a Monday night so is probably louder on the weekend.

The bar decoration is really nice, retro, upscale. Nice atmosphere, mood and tone. I love the gin tonic and cocktails here.
Staff service is really nice. They explain really well about their gin brand and how it is made.
