FAKE REVIEWS
My reviews mostly hit hard, honest and difficult to swallow. Most nonsensical food. I have visited here several times when the Indian cheff was in charge. He was creative and came out with new ideas and dishes. (He left) Now all I see is unhygienic environment. Don't believe me, sit on high chairs and watch the kitchen. It's a see through.
Few months back while having food, a farang came and started shouting that "I asked for tofu and you gave me chicken instead". My friend and I sorted that problem out by trying to calm him at 2am. But the same thing happened to us when we ordered Veg Pakoda (fried vegetables and potatoes). Moving on.
My friend stayed in Holiday inn and mostly visited here. I never once liked the food. It's a overpriced, budget quality food. If you can spend a little more then there are plenty other options.
IMPORTANT - Most of the accounts have about 3 reviews and all are their own restaurants. FAKE REVIEWS DON'T WORK. Read all the reviews of each accounts. Laptop guy certainly didn't wanted to do the hard work, instead created new accounts and posted reviews of their own restaurants hahaha. The owner owns these 3 restaurants
1) Indian essence art
2) Indian essence art cuisine
3) Baan Tassanee Thai Cuisine
SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT ALL THESE CUSTOMERS ONLY WENT TO YOUR 3 RESTAURANTS AND NOWHERE ELSE IN BANGKOK. I call it bull.
Lastly, they have been asking us to rate them 5 stars even when the food was not good or that the Dal was salty, they simply said "please rate us 5 stars and we will do better next time". I don't do request if the food is not good. This is my updated honest review. Business will grow if you are kind and the food is great. No need to false brag or beg about it. Maya Restaurant in Holiday Inn hotel has the best Indian food and even they were rated 4/5 and I have rated this place 2/5. Just being nice here.
Cheers
Restaurants that are way way better:
1) Chaopati soi 13
2) Indus soi 26
3) Amritsari soi 11
4) Banaras soi 13
5) Dosa King soi 11
Hands down the best Indian restaurant in BKK. I go there once a month on average. The ambiance, the music, the food are wonderful. PS if you think the music is a little loud, you can request the table behind the band, which i think is the perfect area because it is not so noisy and you were there for the food and not watching the musician anyway. Must try: chicken tikka and palak paneer YUM!
Thoroughly enjoyed my evening with friends at charcoal. The food is what we originally went for and we were so impressed. Fun dining with excellent flavors. Added to the food was the clever mix of cocktails which were a surprise and exciting. The interior and atmosphere, with the kitchen in full view, really set a fantastic mood for the night. Will most definitely be going back sometime soon.
Most amazing view of any Indian restaurant I've ever been to.by far! Live music makes for a happy but not silly atmosphere.suitable for most crowd types, except maybe drunken yobs. Service is professional and (quite) friendly amiable. The food is brilliant and is really the highlights of this.decor isn't that great, admittedly.
One of the finest Indian restaurants in Bangkok. The food is awesome.including Chicken Tikka and Daal Makhani. Their dessert is just too good. Also, the view and location is awesome. Feel like going there again and again!
Visited last week. Kebabs are great and super value. Also great wines at very reasonable prices. The manager is a very friendly and welcoming guy with a very attractive polite team happily taking care of the guests. Very relaxing environment with a flaming grill and open kitchen. Will go again very soon.
We picked the weekend night to visit the place, hoping to make the already weekend night to be more special. And it turned out to be such great fun! We had reserved a window table with a view of the live music, so we got the best of both worlds. An awesome view outside the window and some fine Hindi music. The staffs were excellent and ready with a smile. The food was good, and we liked the vegetarian
Very nice restaurant in town! I love the decoration. The ambiance is perfect to spend a nice moment for dinner with my boyfriend. I can only describe the meat as tender, juicy and wildly delicious; i enjoyed a Greek Salad and Masala Papdum, super delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the good food, the reasonable prices and the lovely atmosphere.we will definitely go back again! Thank to make our day perfect!
From the first bite to the last, every dish was seasoned perfectly and displayed with such elegance. The atmosphere was upbeat and non-pretentious! A true go to spot for authentic Indian food with atmosphere. We also ventured upstairs to a beautiful rooftop wig great drinks and even better views of Bangkok. We will definitely be back.
Lovely ambience and superb food. The place is suitable for friends, families and fantastic for couples. The food was cooked with mild spices, well balanced and mainly charcoal grilled selection. The kebabs were delicious and t.
Only recommendation would be to make 1 Gulab Jamun free for all guests. The pricing was fair for the quality of food, service and ambience.
After my second time trying this great Indian I thought I should give a little review. Both times I left so stuffed I could hardly walk. Must tries, grilled paneer, the dal, scallops and grilled prawns! The waiters are amazing and informative as well. Oh and the cocktails.fun concepts for all of them. My fav.the new Delhi duty free, give it a try!
It is highly recommended to us from our hotel and it turned out to be good
ambience is good and interiors are soothing nicely spaced out
they serve authentic Indian food which you rarely get abroad
the food is also tasty mind you service is very slow it took them 45 mins and more to serve the food restaurant is pricey but the taste absorbs the cost factor.
Keep up the good work guys
Went with an Indian friend and we both agreed that it was a fantastic evening. Service great, food fantastic, cocktails delicious.but what really pushes it over the mark from good to excellent is the creativity you find throughout the entire restaurant. The restaurant decor is great and gives you plenty of details to look at.
Food extremely delicious! We will be back
Indian Essence Art Cuisine easily became our favourite Indian restaurant in Bangkok - there's not another restaurant that even comes close. The location is perfect, with ample parking and easy access. The service and food are perfect - we've never been disappointed. The selection of wine is as good as any Italian restaurant. If you're looking for a change of pace and flavours while in Bangkok, you really should try this.
I highly recommend this delightful restaurant if you are a lover of Indian cuisine. The menu is fresh and has many well-known Indian dishes and many with a little twist to excite your taste buds. The Chicken Malai Tikka is incredible! The Tandoori Prawns are simply divine! The staff are attentive and the overall ambience of the restaurant is a fabulous balance of old world India meets modern chic big city bliss. I will be back again very soon
I like Thai food the food was magical. The dishes was delicious with lots of variety and the presentation was wonderful. The staffs were attentive and the service was good. The relief sculptures are wonderful
A dinner at Indian Essence Art Cuisine is a pleasure for all five senses. The decoration is extremely well planned and thought out, being a welcome change from the drab decor one finds in most Indian restaurants. The kebabs, which are the order of the day here, were perfectly executed and succulent. Enjoy them with some fresh naan and Dal Makhni.
The food at India Essence Art Cuisine is always mouth-watering and its flavours have remarkable depth. India Essence Art Cuisine is best known for Biryani and authenticated Indian cuisine. Including its super delicious desserts! I thoroughly recommend India Essence Art Cuisine to all:) i know i ll be certainly be returning soon.
Indian Essence Art Cuisine which is not only the Indian cuisine restaurant in Bangkok but also a chilling out place for food. The food quality is no doubt A+ and additional with this the ambiance over there makes it A+. I must say if a person going to Bangkok they should go to Indian Essence Art Cuisine once.
Nicely decorated, good service and delicious Indian food with a fresh modern twist. Also the cocktails are very tasty and come in a nice package.
