Tasting menu. There were some really great dishes but many also missed the mark for me. The main issue I had was texture. Everything was very soft and pappy. There were some very nice courses but nothing that really blew me away. The main dish was Durian, great if you like Durian, I do not and there was no alternative. For one of the dishes our waitress got the description wrong. This produced a long conversation about sweetmeats, we were actually eating sea urchin. It was a great experience but not the top draw gastro experience I was hoping for.

Great food and service at this Michelin-starred restaurant, great atmosphere - a bit too cold for our taste, the courses were fantastic and well presented, worth a visit in Bangkok

Top notch food - every course was so flavorful. It held the essence of india but with a very modern twist. Staff was very kind and took great care of us. Highly recommend!

Don't waste your money was the most boring food I've eaten no flavour. Presentation was nice. No ambience. Boring staff couldn't hear anything my waitress said. The wine was over priced + water. Nothing was really cooked, no flavours of India. Wouldn't recommend going and for the money I wish I had gone somewhere else. Lots of stairs and no wheelchair access.

One of the best eating experiences ever. The innovative champagne tasting menu was such a compliment to the food, that it was just a natural fit…. Delicate and Delicious and the staff were superstars.

I'm an experienced diner with plenty of fine dining reviews.

If you are not 100% sure this durian interpreted dish won't turn your stomach inside out and make you feel like throwing up the expensive meal you just had, go somewhere else to enjoy your meal thoroughly.

I tasted 2 spoons of it and it was enough to ruin my evening. Sadly having a plan b is not an option when the diner's experience is already ruined.

We spent $15k bht and regretted it.

Really nice restaurant to give all food taste no only food but they used different source to make food flavor good and special. It is worth to have more than Michelin 1 star

A great meal with an inventive journey through Indian food with Thai ingredients. While only mildly reminiscent of Indian cuisine, everything was interesting, fun to eat, I'm beautifully presented, and delicious. The highlights for me were the durian from the tandoori, and the pork belly. The nonalcoholic juice pairing was good, but the juices could have been more interesting with the addition of herbs and other extracts.

The roof was very attentive and spoke good English. The wooden house is interesting, reminiscent of the Jim Thompson House Museum, but with barely any decoration inside.

Gaa has an amazing atmosphere with well decorated interiors and settings.

Unfortunately the dishes were not quite as strong as some of the other restaurants we had visited this week, which lowered my scoring.

One star due to food quality. Even though presentation is top notch, some of the dishes were so pungent to borderline unedible. The Kokum & sweet potato oyster were so fishy that we couldn't taste the next three courses without tasting oyster in our mouths. The Keema Pav were already gamey with lamb, with the addition of brain butter just made it disgusting. This is less of a fusion than a bitter comprise of two fantastic cusines. The entire presentation took more than 2 and half hours. My wife and I couldn't wait to leave and stop this torture to our taste buds.

A MUST for fine dining at its BEST!
First, I would like to thank the staff for being able to accommodate me and creating a tasting menu completely based around my plant based lifestyle. Then I would like to compliment you on everything that you created was absolutely delicious and out of this world! This is a must for those that want to enjoy a great meal, and they left no questions why they are on the Asians best, and worlds best restaurants. Myself and my partner, both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, mine was plant-based and hers was pescatarian, and we were both so happy!
Also, the staff were super friendly, courteous, accommodating, and though it is fine dining, they were still very personable, and made you feel right at home. So for anybody visiting Bangkok, looking for a great meal, and a wonderful experience this is a must! By the way, you could completely tell the manager loves her job and love being a part of the Gaa family!
PS: the presentation is also so beautiful

Gaa met all of our expectations of a two star Michelin restaurant & then more. Loved the unassuming planted entrance and the simple, subdued, and quiet ambiance. We were warmly greeted at arrival and immediately seated in a tastefully arranged lounge and offered aperitifs while waiting for our table (we had arrived early). We ordered their never-ending tasting menu paired with their lady sommelier’s recommendations. Elegant presentation, imaginative elaboration of dishes, and an explosion of tastes that awoke all of our buds. Impeccable. Service could not have been better. Our compliments to Chef Aurora & her wonderful staff! Vivian Reyes and José Acosta

GAA is an avant-garde Indian restaurant serving only a fixed multi course menu. Interior is very stylish & service attentive. All dishes were meticulously prepared & interesting. We enjoyed most of them although found the durian main course too challenging.
