A gem of a Japanese restaurant. Right taste. Right atmosphere. The real deal. I really felt like I was back in Japan. (2022)

Very disappointed. Ordered tonkatsu ramen, they forgot my order. Then when eventually arrived, I was so hungry but it's only a tiny piece of pork. But actually they told me that's how they usually serve. Nevertheless I felt insulted, couldn't eat and went to another restaurant. (2023)

Beef in a hot pan is recommended. The owner is very friendly. Staff are very nice and helpful.

It's a great way to fill up on snacks and meals.
Among them, the takoyaki is exquisite! It was so melty that I couldn't help but add another dish. The prices are not Japanese prices, but are reasonable and cheap. The owner is also friendly and readily accepts requests for photos.
We had a great time. Definitely a repeat decision.

Great restaurant, always really tasty food. We love the takoyaki from here it's delicious, even better than we had in Japan! The staff are very friendly.

You can experience an atmosphere that feels like you are in Japan. Takoyaki is not recommended, but sukiyaki is recommended. We recommend ordering and eating porridge after the meal.

An izakaya located near the Big C On Nut store. I ordered a large bottle of Singha, tuna natto, grilled shishamo (3 fish), and curry rice. The staff were bright, energetic, and polite, giving me a good impression. The taste was delicious, but the total cost was 820 baht. The nearby izakaya I went to the night before was too reasonable, so I felt it was strangely expensive.

This food bang. I honestly would come here daily. The Chu Mai drink is really good and it was our first time trying it. Also, the beef with RICE! And the sushi. Everything was great and the atmosphere was inviting.

This has become mine and my partners favorite place for a late-night chill. They have lots of options and we even taken some friends. The owner is very welcoming and nice and always says hi to us and makes sure we feel right at home. Actually, all the staff is very kind. The food is good, prices are good, and we will keep coming back!

Good atmosphere, now returned after 3 years and it’s even better. Good food, fair prices but incredible selection with good service, caring owner and table staff. Well recommended for good food.

I came to this place for lunch and this is the first Izakaya Restaurant that I did not order alcohol. However I feel like their meal is good value and tasty. The BEST part is their desert ice cream! They're really rich for milk flavor, remind me when I was child and used to eat lots of Milk Candy!

Hidden at the back of one of the W Market side streets you find this Japanese restaurant. It's not very big, about 30 seats of which 24 or so downstairs on tables, 4 at the bar and the rest upstairs. Right when you get in the owner loudly and enthusiastically welcomes you. There is plenty of staff so service is instant. Pricing is not expensive and parking can be done for free across the main street at Big C shopping mall. We left when the owner was busy but he came running after us to say goodbye Five for sure and we will visit again. Added to my Bangkok Food list. Check out my other lists.

Sensational Japanese food. You know it's going to be good when you walk in on a Monday night and it's packed. This was part of a foodie meetup so got to try lots of dishes. The takoyaki was delicious, grilled mackerel awesome and udon noodles too. In fact all dishes were winners

Happy hour Asahi was well received. Service was super fast and efficient and the place had a fun atmosphere

เป็นร้านที่ได้พาแฟนไปทานโดยบังเอิญ แต่พอหลังจากได้ทานแล้วคงต้องยกให้เป็นร้านประจำอีกร้านเลยครับ เมนูที่สั่งวันนั้นแฟนสั่งอุด้ง ผมสั่งแซลม่อนด้งและเนื้อย่างกระทะร้อน

รสชาติและบรรยายกาศในร้านทำให้คิดถึงญี่ปุ่นมากครับ ความรู้สึกคือเหมือนได้วาปไปญี่ปุ่นแบบนึง โดยเฉพาะเนื้อย่างคือดีงามมากกก และราคาก็ไม่แพงครับ คุณภาพอาหารดีครับ เจ้าของและพนักงานบริการดีครับ จะกลับมาทานอีกแน่นอนครับ.

Real Japanese food in on nut. Japanese owner, good food, reasonable prices, what more could you want?

Great Japanese restaurant at reasonable prices.and the sashimi is ultra fresh.a lot of patrons are local Japanese which is a good sign. And the best part is the 'beer buffet' menu, unlimited beer, sake and whiskey over 1 or 2 hours, varying options available and from 230THB for 1 hour. I've been here few times and will go again.

นัดเพื่อนๆมาดื่มกินกัน ที่ร้านนี้เป็นร้าน ikazaya แบบญี่ปุ่นแท้ๆ ซึ่งจะไม่ค่อยเน้นอาหารที่เป็นเนื้อสักเท่าไหร่ อาหารที่ทานวันนี้ก็จะเป็นเมนูพื้นๆ เสียเป็นส่วนใหญ่

มีบางเมนูที่อร่อยสะดุดลิ้นก็อย่างเช่น มันบดใส่หนวดปลาหมึก อันนี้อร่อยเลย หรืออย่างแก้มหมูซอสกระเทียมพริกไทย อันนี้ก็รสชาติเข้มข้นดี เนื้อแก้มหมูนุ่มเด้ง อร่อยมาก

มีเมนูฮอทพอทจากร้านนานาเสะราเมน อันนี้ก็อร่อยมากเช่นกัน น้ำซุปไก่เคี่ยวเป็น 10 ชั่วโมง ทำให้ได้น้ำซุปที่รสชาติเข้มข้นมาก อร่อยจริงๆ

ปิดท้ายด้วยของหวานเป็นโมจิไอซ์ ดีงามจริงๆ จบมื้อได้สวยงามมาก แม้ว่าระหว่างมื้อจะเสิร์ฟเมนูที่ธรรมดาๆ หลายอย่างอยู่ก็ตาม

Nice little place tucked away in the corner across from Big C On Nut.

The gyoza was great, maybe the best I’ve had in Bangkok. I really liked that it was extra crispy. I also ordered the Sauced Katsu Don which was good quality pork but too much sauce for me.

I definitely go back again and try some other dishes.

Amazing! I had the avocado tempura and the tofu udon. The avocado was firm and fresh. The breading was crispy and not oily. The tofu udon was really wholesome. The broth was delicious and the tofu had a hint of orange flavor that worked really well with the dish. My boyfriend had shoyu ramen and salmon sashimi. He enjoyed his as well. The peach soda was really good too! We enjoyed it all!
