Foreign Correspondents Club reviews
14Hardly a go-to place to eat but the programmes the FCCT organises are unique in Bangkok and usually very informative. Watch them on the Club's YouTube channel.
Was here for the launch of the local Thai wine brewery and cheese maker.
I hate this place as it's so noisy that I can hardly hear anything. My daughter bought two bottles of the wine she and myself liked and we left for dinner as we can hardly get to talk to anyone
May I ask if Bar & Restaurant are open to public? If yes, where can I find the menu? Thank You
A bit of challenge finding the place. It located on penthouse level, but you have to get on the right elelvator to reach that floor. Look for Timelss Real Estate office, nearby is correct elevator lobby.
Great place for chess but drinks are extremely expensive and can be hard to find the location
Worth popping in from time-to-time. Inexpensive drinks made by good bartenders. Some nice bar snacks available along with newspapers, and the bookshelves are well-stocked. Smoking allowed outside on the terrace.
The events presented are often compelling and sometimes make the headlines of the local newspapers.
Good place. But due to Covid-19, they try not to stockpile much. And if you use their facility before 5pm, you need to pay for parking fee
Nice and cultured people. Great place for a meeting in the centre of Bangkok. And the place to be when they host an event on social topics. Come, have a drink and find out where the 8 o'clock news are cooked.
Good bar to catch up and has differrent interesting topic and differnt hot issues present to quests here.
Weekly events on critical issues facing SE Asia. Friendly & welcoming of all ages & backgrounds.one of my favorite places to feel connected w Asia & the world.
Could not understand this place because it's hidden. No clear directions available on main Ashok station
Great political panel discussions, most welcoming crowd and a sweet bar, pool table and balcony for smoking. I am greatful for being welcomed to the club!
Join if you want to keep up with current events and meet famous headliners and international correspondents. Here in this picture, I am with three top notch professionals: Jonathan Head SE Asia Correspondent of BBC, Nirmal Ghosh, USA Bureau Chief of Singapore Straits Times, and Marc Laban, Head of Production for Asia Works (Asia’s leading independent media company creating original content and providing video production, transmission and webcast services). And it’s great fun too!
One of the places in Bangkok that is a must to be visited. We enjoyed it very much. Affordable prices and very, very helpful staff. The occasion to be there was also great - presentation of the movie of the great German author Marco Wilms. The "metal politics Taiwan" is a masterpiece that You really need to watch
