Duc De Praslin Belgium (RSU Tower Sukhumvit 31)

I ordered a cup each of milk chocolate + hazelnut and dark chocolate! If you're Korean, you'll immediately think of Jetty.haha. You can think of it as a slightly bland Jetty flavor, but it's not bad.

The chocolate that comes with it is really delicious!

The drinks and interior decorations are decorated for Halloween, so it's really fun to see.
It takes a while for the drinks to come out, so be patient!

This is a Belgian chocolate cafe located in a building facing Sukhumvit Road.
In addition to coffee and smoothies, there is also a wide variety of drinks including chocolate-based drinks.
The price is not cheap, but each drink comes with two free chocolates.
Hot Americano (100baht) had a very strong and sour taste.
Spicy Aztec Hot Chocolate
(190 baht) was not too sweet and had a strong aroma of spices, and was very delicious.
You can't get it at other restaurants, so I highly recommend you give it a try.

The interior of the store is bright and stylish, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
There are no restrooms inside the store, so you will have to use the restrooms inside the building.

Staff was patient and attentive.

I’ve changed my rate.
I visited them just after their opening time and got some chocolate, but found some chocolate put were so cold and sweat when I opened at home. This let me doubt the old ones or the way of taking care of delicate chocolate.
Anyhow I felt it’s better not to visit them earlier time tbh.

Always be attended with patient and good service. One of their fans as for now, visiting them regularly. Though I ask my personal request sometimes, the staff always accepts kindly with no hesitation, it’s so helpful for me.

Always good experience in this shop.
I asked the staff to separately wrapped each chocolate because I’d like to use as mini gifts. Though it must be some kind of troublesome, she accepted with no hesitation. I was full of thankfulness, and had become their more enthusiastic fan now.
I’d like to visit them for small gifts also in the future. Thank you so much.

Super excellent place to grab a unique (delicious) gift for loved ones. The dark chocolate clusters are to die for (and addictive…beware you have been warned:)

You would like this place if you got sweet tooth Macaroon, bonbon, chocolate cake are wonderful; especially when pairing with a good cup of tea. Kids friendly; the place is quite compact though. Parking is available in the same building. Recommend?

Posh and luxurious Belgium chocolate cafe with excellent service! The location is noticeable and close to the BTS station. The price is reasonable, it's high but the quality of the chocolate is soooo good even though they are really small. BTW, the taste might be too sweet for some people. One drink comes with 2 chocolates and a glass of water. There's a menu that left a lasting impression on my friends, that is the blue chocolate filled with jam that surprisingly tastes incredible together. Moreover, there's not only chocolate but also other snacks like cookies, cakes, etc. All the desserts in this cafe are extremely suitable for a gift/present on the special day or occasion, they're so adorable and yummy! Overall, I'd love to revisit this place

You dont have any reason going to Starbucks if you in this area. Coffee, chocolate and atmosphere are delicious. Cozy place. 100% recommend.

Being from Belgium and living in Thailand, I'm a bit disappointed PRASLIN don't source their cocoa beans from Thailand. Around Chiang Mai, they have great products. Try Markrin organic chocolate to convince yourself of this. Using Belgium know-how and Thai cocoa ingredients could make your products even better and more successful to the Thai eye and sweet tooth, IMHO.

Cheap and (very) sweet. The dark chocolate bars are really good.

The shop is on the first floor. There are around 7 tables, 4 seats each. Cozy and nice. You can park the car in the building. The entrance is on the main road. (The exit is in the avenue.) You can stamp the parking bill in the shop to get 2-hour parking time.

The price is quite cheap compare to other chocolatier. Most bonbons are 35 baths. You also get two free bonbons for each drink you order (around 100 baths).

Too sweet, you will enjoy it if you like sweet chocolate but it isn't my cup of tea. To give you an idea, I normally enjoy around 70% dark chocolate which isn't that extreme.

I ordered all the recommended dark chocolate bonbons but the praline and the ganache fillings were all too sweet. The shells were too thin to the point that the fillings overpowered them and I didn't feel any flavours from the shells.

The purple and the white ones in the photo were free from the drink I ordered. Obviously, they were a lot sweeter than the dark ones. I couldn't bare their sweetness.

The brownie was okay-ish, also too sweet for me. The texture was cake-like and too soft. I couldn't cut the chocolate plate on top without deforming the cake. Given that it's only 50 baths, I didn't expect much.

I ordered a pot of hot Earl Grey tea. Not sure which branch it is but the smell was quite nice.

I would give 2-star for a chocolatier that can't bring out the flavour of the main ingredient, the chocolate! However, I also bought their chocolate bars and changed my mind. The bars were pretty good. If you like dark chocolate, I recommend just buying the bars and skip everything else.

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed 3 orders with these guys spent over 1,000B and no sign of a refund.

All of the products ordered were out of stock and of the shops is closed.

Why say the products are available if there not? And why hold customers money.

It's a cuye little place done up in blue and white, all ritzy. It even has a little kids library with books for your little ones!
Quiet little place. I just loved it!
Highly recomend this place, it's a great place to chill and relax over a tea or coffee or just to get some chocolates!

Ebony & Ivory - dark chocolate with fresh milk is the best for who don't like sweet beverages.

They have such a wonderful selection of chocolates and drinks. I was surprised to find this place in Bangkok near where I was staying. They even had single sourced chocolates and a wide selection of drinks available. And it was all delicious.

Nice Duc de praslin hot Chocolate signature. It's not too dark kind of hot Chocolate drink. Easy to drink. It came with 2 complimentary milk Chocolate. Pleasant atmosphere with piano instrumental music and soft sofa. Parking in the bldg free 2 hr.

I went there today, April 16,2018, after 12PM. We had cappuccino which was good. The scone was not my taste. Their chocolates were great. I love it! I will definitely go back for the chocolate, but not at this RSU building location. Why? The service was so bad. That is it!
