Dasa Book Cafe

Amazing book store with lots of literature in different languages, predominantly English though. The bookstore is very well organized but despite the great amount of books to chose from, it is not overwhelming! Second floor is almost all given to mystery, thriller and fantasy. The bookstore also has a comprehensive list of books available in store on their site, so make sure to check before you go. Great to place to spent a hot afternoon in the city!

Love the place, a lot of book at a very affordable price. Their collections are quite well catalogue but their seems to be some issue with humidity (I seen evidence of some moulds or foxing occurs) so inspect well before buy anything.

Great little used bookstore, with 3 storeys of treasures to be found. Bonus for foreign language books on 3rd floor, but note also that there is poor air-conditioning there too. Also, the cafe part of this place is woefully small, so don't expect to hang out here.

I just love visiting this place to buy and trade books. It is almost like travelling back in time. Plus it's easy to get to, the staff are helpful and polite and you'll always come away with a great read.

The best used bookstore in Bangkok. Not too far from the BTS and has many floors of various books to chose from. Expect to spend some time searching for your favorite book and afterwards grab a soda or nice coffee made from their espresso machine located behind the counter. If you are interested in books stop by there for a visit! Even found an old favorite book for the Thailand newbie here!

An outrageous selection of books in English with reasonable prices to match. The staff speak reasonable English and are also extremely helpful. Don't go to Chatuchak Market as the book dealer there is very expensive and not all that helpful. I recommend Dasa.

Cute little used book store right on Sukhumvit not far from Phrom Pong BTS station. Coffee shop inside but they don’t have dairy-free or lactose-free options so I didn’t try it.

Three floors and well-organized. Lots of English, Thai and other languages. I’m into sci-fi and found a 20-year-old novel by one of my favourite Canadian authors, Robert J. Sawyer.

They will take back books you’ve purchased (I think there’s a time limit) and give you store credit. And will also buy uses books for 10-15% of list price.

Great selection of interesting books in excellent condition. Have been a few times, usually leaving with a pleasant surprise purchase

One of the best pre-loved bookstores I have come across.
A really good collection of books; spread across three floors. They also have a collection of CD/DVDs.
The books are reasonably priced and price varies as per the condition/age of the books.
I got some good titles and I'm definitely visiting during my next visit to Bangkok.
Do visit in case you are a bookworm and strolling around. Recommend!

Absolutely LOVE this bookstore. They have a great selection with reasonable prices. They also do trade-in's for store credit, which is super cool! Highly recommend my fellow book worms to check this place out

Dasa is a sentimental place for me. I have been visiting Dasa for around 8 years, starting from the time when I was so broke (life was in fact an utter turmoil) that I cannot afford a book at full price to the day that I can buy as many book as I like without looking at the price. I remember the feeling when I walked into the bookstore with hardly any money and had to choose the book so carefully and wisely. The smell of the old books and the cracking floor are the same but I'm just not that sad anymore. Quite happier now. I still keep all those books that I bought here.

We love this bookstore since you can buy second hand books and resell them back after you finished reading them. They have a variety of books and in different languages such as Spanish, French, German, kid books, etc

Got $23 for 6 books that retailed for around $140.they only wanted to take 3, i just donated the others.if you take store credit instead of cash they give you 20% more.i think it's really important to keep places like this going.kind staff and good selection, i especially love seeing old art and design books.they strongly prefer english language books.

This place offers a wide and huge library, mostly 2nd hand, there are 3 floors with plenty of choises for your taste, sci-fiction, love, sex, history, biography, travel, ancient books, spy, war, in different languages, history, etc, i loved it very much, specially because this place offers you the chance to trade the books you already have read which is very great to share knowledges with others, highly recommend! I bought a couple of books

Nice place, cheap books. A little dusty and disordered, but you expect that from a used book store. Currently not working as a cafe, so that was a big disappointment

An English bookshop 5 mins walk from Phrom Phong station. A lot of books on sald and they also offer buying service. ID proof needed for over 100b quote. Not very sure what is the rules for offering price.

Definitely light on you pocket if you like to own and read books in physical form. Some good buys available to adorn your home library or coffee table for book-washing types
