CRU Champagne Bar

Located on the top floor of the building next to Central World, you can observe Bangkok at night very beautifully.
Drinks are very good, priced at 650 Bath/drink. Staff are very attentive.
The only downside is that the shop closes early (1am closes), and the glass is a bit high so it's hard to see down.

Amazing spot with a 360° View.the staff was delightful. Muna, Anya and Siti were fantastic with us, very nice and thoughtful. It is an wonderful rooftop with an amazing atmosphere but little bit pricey

Glass of wine 590 Baht, mocktail 340 Baht. But the atmosphere here is first class, the music is if you have some extra money, you are welcome:)

Great spot! Found it on the pff chance and the view was phenomenal. Staff were happy and friendly. And the DJ was playing great tunes. Fantastic place!

One of my favorite rooftop bar, great selection for drink, as well as services are wonderful. Plus the view on top extremely great.

CRU treated us like a transaction rather than valued guests. Weeks ago we booked (and paid a lofty deposit) for a sunset dinner to celebrate a very special occasion on our last day in Bangkok. We received notice a mere 1 day in advance that they opted to book a private event at the same time as our dinner and our reservation was no longer good, however we could come a few hours later, after the private event, if we'd like. There was no apology for the inconvenience and there was no offer to discount/refund our deposit for the trouble. I requested I be refunded as soon as possible since the alternative time they proposed was long after the normal dinner hour and interfered with our travel plans. CRU informed us to expect our refund in 45 days. For such a highly regarded, respected restaurant, I expected more. For any restaurant, I expect more.

I would not recommend CRU to anyone who wants a nice dinner/drink experience as unfortunately your reservation is only safe til someone better comes along.

Sehr schöne Bar mit tollen Cocktails und sehr freundlichem Personal. Preislich ist die Bar auf grund der ausgefallen Cocktails absolut ok. Es legte eine DJane richtig gut auf und sorgte damit für das letzte Quäntchen an Wohlfühlatmosphäre

Great views as expected. Its 3 lifts to get to the very top. Relaxed atmosphere. If your scared of heights, hold on!

Great night place in Bangkok but you have to know that if you want to go to the top bar you won’t be allowed to enter on shorts

Views from the city are great

View was stunning as you overlooks the whole Bangkok. Drinks like cocktails are good. Just not the food. They were served cold (all 3 dishes we ordered) and waiters didn't help by telling us that that's just the way they are. Worth a visit but suggest you just have a drink there.

Came here on a Sunday night date. Not a bad rooftop bar to have a relaxing drink. Nice atmosphere although the view wasn't as stunning as one might have hoped or expected.

To get there, you've got to enter the exhibition centre located behind CentralWorld and get up to the 26th floor for the Hotel. From there, you've got to walk to a different lift lobby to get up to the 55th floor to access the Restaurant.

Here, my date's carrier bag (containing a slice of cake) was confiscated to be returned when we left because "no outside food was allowed". The suggestion that we would be consuming the cake on the premises is mildly offensive. Can you imagine any other posh hotel restaurant/bar confiscating your packaged food/drink? This ain't some second rate bar/restaurant being frequented by cash-strapped students trying to take the mickey. Besides, when we were leaving, it was difficult to get hold of someone for the return of property.

Anyway, at the restaurant, you then step out onto the outdoor terrace, and walk up a flight of stairs to get to the outdoor bar area. All along the way, every staff member would greet you. I must have gotten 6 sawadeeka's by the time I've sat down.

The wine selection (by the glass) was not large, possibly about 10 options, out of which I had a fairly average rosé. They were out of sauvignon blanc. My date had a cocktail which by all accounts was fairly mediocre. Paid about 800 baht for the two drinks.

The whole experience was just a bit of a faff for me to frequent this bar, and the drinks and views just weren't amazing enough. I don't regret coming though, and would still recommend it if you're in the area.

Great city view but comes with a price. Great cocktail tho. Overall worth it considering its very central location.

Absolutely horrendous experience.
1. Went to get drinks at this place, wasn’t informed that there were 3 different bars (each on different level separated by a staircase) thus assumed all were the same just with different views.

2. After drinks at the cognac bar (2nd bar) we noticed a staircase up to what we thought was a viewing gallery) turns out was another bar (champagne bar)

3. Walked around abit got chased away by the manager saying this place was exclusive. Implying that I couldn’t afford it?

Was having a good time but it was totally ruined. Will be boycotting this hotel, and never booking it for my conventions and for my staff ever again. Thanks

This looks like a CROWN of Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at Centralworld on 59-60th floor. It is also known as one of the highest Champagne bars in the world. A must visit with your loved ones and spend a memorable evening with breathtaking view!

Fantastic Views of Central Bangkok! If you want to feel like you’re on top of Bangkok, this is definitely the place for you!

Service was incredible! Almost half of the staff are from the Philippines! Utmost hospitality with lots of welcome smiles!

I think the only thing that makes me knock down the number of stars on this review is the stale taste of their Bangkok Bellini. Its a bellini mixed with mangoes. Every time I took a sip of this drink, it reminded me of Mango Car fresheners. Not sure it was meant to taste that way but I’m never ordering that drink again.

Music is a bit too loud but understandable (luckily not all the time too.) Service was standard. Enough options of drinks. For the view, no question

Price is quite high. A glass of wine can cost you 1000THB.

It was not crowded when we visited and the weather was super nice (like 24c). For my visits here, I have never made a reservation. But recommended to do so, if you come more than 4.

Excellent location for city views of Bangkok! Ask to be seated outside, and if you are interested there is a cognac and chocolate bar at the very top level. We sat at the level below and had plenty of seats to choose from. The cocktails were interesting and tasty but cost 450 baht a piece. I would recommend this location for one drink and the views, but be ready to pay a lot if you’re looking for food or multiple beverages.

The view is incredible! This is the perfect place to watch the sunset. 360° view. Drinks are super expensive but I guess this is a once in a lifetime thing, so it's worth it to treat yourself! The cocktail is quite big and comes with a few nuts and chips too. The perfect place to feel fancy for a night.
