If traveling to Bangkok, DO NOT waste your time with any other suit shop! These guys are the best, hands down, stop reading reviews, save your time and favorite Crown. Right now. Sami, YOU ARE THE MAN!

I got heckeled by every suit store I passed, EXCEPT these guys. The only thing Thailand has more of than 7/11s is suit places. You will get harassed at every one you pass. I told a ton I already had it covered, and mentioned Crown Tailor, should see their faces. They know Crown is the top of their game.

The staff there actually DOWN sold me. Meaning, they listened to what I wear, when, how often, my references and recommended a CHEAPER option. Anywhere else will upsell the daylights out of you.

You'll see signs all over Thailand for $100 suits. Come on. You can definitely get cheaper suits and save money, like I did my previous trip, but you'll notice after a few times wearing it. You totally get what you pay for. Dont go cheap. Crown is still affordable. Dont misread this.

Service is phenomenal. Like over the top exceptional. I had to go in 4 different days, my body type required a bit more attention to details, and there were times they waited til AFTER close for me. Sami you're the man!

Fantastic selection of products, fast and legit quality. Plus they TRAVEL internationally year round so will COME TO YOU for alterations and more products in the future.

Crown Tailor was recommended by one of my colleagues, so I decided to go there for my first bespoke Suit and some Shirts. Suit and Shirts fit very fell and I get a lot of compliments for them, so I don't want to wear my old suits anymore. The whole team is very helpful and friendly. They have a good eye on details and are very honest with you. I sure this was not my last suit from them and I also recommended Crown Tailor to another colleague.

I visited Crown Tailor in mid June 2019 to make a suit, several office work shirts and pants. Both Sam and Bob were polite and accommodating and provided easygoing and helpful service in the store. When some of the shirts had been made and were too tight at the chest area, they worked efficiently and quickly to rectify the issue with their offsite tailors.

While it was initially frustrating to have to go back everyday of my 5 day holiday to check on the sizing of the shirts and suit, eventually this ensured that the clothes that I ordered were of a comfortable and smart fit.

I would recommend Crown Tailor to anyone interested to make shirts of a reliable quality in Bangkok. I opted for the 100% cotton range for all my shirts and this really has proven to be very comfortable as I work in a non-air conditioned, tropical weather environment.

What makes me write another great review is the fact that the most recent suit and shirts I got these days have proven once again the outstanding customer service and quality of the suits and shirts of Crown Tailors. Speedy delivery, perfect fit, great attention to detail and continuous improvement and considering customer feedback. Very much appreciated and can highly recommend. It has it's price but it pays off for sure - still wearing shirts and suits from more than 8 years ago, and I wear them every day!

Took my husband here during our first visit in Bangkok. SO impressed with Sandy at Crown Tailor. He was a delight to work with while selecting fabrics and discussing color palettes for several additional custom suits. We will be back. Remember you get what you pay for - don’t cheap out!

Staffs are friendly and helpful, but service could use some improvements. The staff who wrote down the design on my suit did not ask for my preferences but assumed the default instead. All 3 times that I went back (2 for fitting and 1 to collect), I had to wait past the schedule time. You get free water but that's pretty standard for all the tailor shops.

Very good quality and comfortable suits and shirts. Excellent service. I can highly recommend this tailor!

I am a returning customer. The first batch of shirts I had made lasted me over 15 years, I still have them and the only thing that is showing how hard they worked is the fading and discolouration on the collars and cuffs. Fit and finish are exactly as I like it.

I will be back for more.

**UPDATE** Upon posting this review I was phoned by the owner who was very understanding and offered a full refund. Extremely good customer service.

I will attempt to be completely objective in this negative review:

I went into Crown Tailor looking to make two sets of shirts and trousers for an upcoming wedding. As I'm not a formal man, and the wedding is in a hot climate, I wanted something more smart casual. I showed the salesman a picture of the shirt I desired, a knitted short sleeve polo type shirt.

He seemed unsure about the style and fabric as it wasn't the type of shirt they usually made, but offered me a cotton blend fabric that we agreed upon. It was not what I was looking for, but he seemed to think he could meet my expectations so I agreed to try it. I told him if it turned out well, I would get the other items made too.

The shirt I received was not anything like what I had hoped. It was essentially a short sleeve shirt, that had a weird blend of informal and formal styles; the material was all wrong and the design was neither smart nor casual. The very fastidious owner of the shop, seeing my displeasure, did his best to rectify this by making alterations which I appreciated. But the shirt was beyond rectifying.

Things I hope would be done differently from Crown Tailors in the future:

1. I made very clear I was looking for a knitted, casual style. While I take responsibility for agreeing to the fabric, it's important to remember that people go into tailors looking for professional advice. I trusted his judgement in offering me an alternative material, but it would have been better if he had politely declined the order and told me that they wouldn't be able to make what I was looking for.

2. While the owner was extremely helpful in trying to make changes to improve the shirt, ultimately, what I'm left with is a $40 shirt which I will probably never wear. An offer of a discount would have been hugely appreciated, or even just a 10% off offer for a next purchase. It's not about the money, it's about creating good will. Instead, I'm left feeling very hard done by with my experience with them and will likely not return in future.

Ultimately, if you want a straightforward suit I have no doubt that Crown can deliver, they seemed like knowledgeable men. But from my experience you're taking a risk if you try anything that drifts too far away from the suit, shirt and tie formula.

I needed this just one good looking suit, for work and special events. Crown Tailor helped me make it and reach a very satisfying result. At the price of ANY SUIT back home I got a tailor made one. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

This is one of the only suit makers shops in Bangkok that don't put a person outside to invite customers to the store. I think that tells enough about their reputation and success.

It was a good experience having Sandy and his team walking me through the suit making process, it is my pleasure to have this service level i have not seen with other tailors, definitely a notch above the rest. They offer amendments to your tailor shirts suits and pants to your satisfaction before you collect.

I would recommend crown tailor to anyone.

What I bought:

6 shirts of the best high quality fabric 100% cotton
2 suits of 80% wool and 20% polyester (this material mix is better to have for daily used suits instead of 100% wool as it is less sensitive to abrasion, and believe me, it looks like 100% wool without Polyester and also feels like 100% wool - thank you for the consultation by the way!)

First of all: The shirts are perfectly fitting with a true high quality fabric. Feels like a second skin and its a one of a kind experience to wear.

Secondly: Normally it takes 3 - 4 days (minimum!) for a tailor to create a perfectly fitting bespoke suit. I gave them only 2 days because of my tight flight and travel schedule - anyway, they agreed on and promised to do their best.

After the third fitting on day two, it was found, that there will be not enough time left to give both suits the perfect and final cut due to my departure time - needless to say, that both suits already were close to perfection, just the shoulders had to be aligned once again.

Back in Europe I went to an old tailor in Hamburg and showed him the suits. He pointed out some small mistakes (e.g. Shoulders) which could be aligned easily for low money. Apart from that, he was impressed by the handcraft. I got in contact with Crown Tailor again and they offered me reimbursement for this!

Needless to tell, that this service is extremly rare around the globe and you cannot expect it or have an entitlement for it.

To avoid this rush, and to get the possibility to just grab a perfect bespoke suit, please plan at least 4 days from the very beginning.

I am deeply impressed by this kind of customer care and only can highly reccommend this place. Not only for the high quality of products but also for the high level of convenient customer care and consultation. Also the guys never were pushy or trying to sell you more than you need - the atmosphere is calm and you just feel comfortable while they work around you.

All in all I am extremly happy that I bought my stuff here and not at one of these pitchmen.

Next time in Bangkok I will definitively come back!

The quality of their workmanship has gone downhill.

Crown was my first tailor. The shirts and trousers they originally made for me were absolutely fantastic. They fit perfectly and were oh-so-comfortable.

This latest visit has been filled with disappointment. After talking up Crown to my friends, the utter lack of professionalism leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The clothes did not fit well. The fit and cut were weird; basic features such as custom buttons that we asked for were left out: sleeve lengths were off, padding for suit sleeves extended out beyond the shoulder and more.

The part that makes me seriously shake my head though, is that after we pointed out the issues we had and requested alterations, they STILL COULD NOT FIX IT. REPEATEDLY. What's the point of visiting a tailor if they can't even get your trouser length right?

And then the excuses: one of your shirts has too long sleeves? It'll shrink in the wash. Oh the other shirt you made out of the same material that you adjusted until it's just perfect? That one won't shrink. The shoulder padding in your suit is uneven? It's "like that". It really sucks to get the feeling that they don't care about making sure the clothes are of good quality & fit, and simply want you gone.

I get that they're a shopfront and that the actual tailoring is done at a factory, but the craftsmanship is so much poorer that it makes me wonder if all the senior tailors have left.

Honestly with all the problems we encountered on this trip, I cannot recommend Crown Tailor anymore.

Crown Tailor on its own is enough of a reason to make a trip to BKK. I just did. A bespoke suit handmade for you by Crown Tailor is the equivalent of Savile Row craftsmanship combined with the highest quality fabrics from Italy plus a truly superb level of customer service and attention to detail.
In a megalopolis where literally thousands of tailors sell low-quality hundred dollar suits, only one is above them all for quality, value and service.
Crown Tailor makes no compromise in fabric quality, in the construction of each hand made garment or in client satisfaction.
In short, they provide a bespoke experience at a reasonable cost (though NOT for a hundred dollars).
While I do keep coming back for the quality and craftsmanship they offer the actual reason I will never change tailors is that every time I wear a suit by Crown Tailor, at least one time, but often more, perfect strangers stop me in the street in the US, to compliment me on my suits and ask me where I got them.
I do enjoy the positive attention and want it to continue so I will always be a Crown Tailor customer!

On my last trip to Thailand I had Crown Tailor fit me for a couple new suits, shirts and sport coats. Before arriving I did a lot of research. I read the reviews, looked at the websites, I even emailed a bunch of other tailors to compare pricing.
I’m so glad I went here.
There are a lot of places that use the word bespoke but Crown Tailor should have the rights to them.
The attention to detail is absolutely second to none.
When I looked in the mirror, I thought it was great as it is but Mana managed to find a minor flaw in the sleeve that needed alteration. I can confidently say that the Crown Tailor team are meticulous in the pursuit of perfection.
They will make you look like a million bucks.
The whole process was smooth and efficient yet never felt rushed. I also love that they are in no way pushy.
I arrived planning to buy a couple suits and shirts, but after I saw the quality of the work, I ended up getting 5 suits, 12 shirts and a sport coat. Best thing was that they were able to complete it for me in about just 2 weeks. Seriously quit looking elsewhere! Just go to Crown Tailor and you will not be disappointed.

Ask for Sandy. I got there when the shop opened at 10am. He did my measurements for a suit and advised on the fabric. Returned at 6pm for fitting but the suit was good to go. Amazing service and excellent handiwork. All in 8 hours. Thanks Sandy. See you in December.
