Country Road (Bar)

My favorite Soi Cowboy place to go. Great music, very kind staff, reasonable prices. The only small but funny downside is the neighborhood competition who can play the loudest but that has a fun ring to it as well. Sitting on the terrace and watching people going by while having a drink is 10/10 repeatable.

Great place to spend an evening. Live music, clean facilities, helpful staff, great atmosphere & no trouble.

Post Covid now more or less back to normal, always busy. The music is still retro which suits the venue, one of the regular bands has a singer called Gina who has real personality but I really miss Buffalo Bob, the eccentric guitarist with his early evening set. Much missed. Waiting for a comeback!

Update... Same same, no change. Really good place, good night out and reasonable prices. Still retro but the later the evening is the music gets newer, having rap singers doesn't really add to the vibe.

Still visiting Country Road and it remains a great night out.
So sad to see the legend Gina has left after 12 years. She will be sadly missed, good singer and personality. I hope she returns soon.
This venue is worth a visit and the prices challenge all tte other bars in Soi Cowboy.
Bring back Gina!

If you are not white, then don't go to this place at all. I usually don't bring the racism, but they are hardcore racist and you can feel if you are not local or white. I really enjoyed the music, but the way staffs treat you is not acceptable. I would not mind if they keep the sign saying local and white people only because if I had seen that sign I would have simply avoided this place.

It's a great bar to go to around midnight. Music is always excellent as is the service. Usually a good variety of people there.

Fun place with a good crowd and live music every night on an infamous Soi. Not one of the naughty ones, just good, clean fun.

They were packed when I went. So I went to Penny Black right across from Country Road. Penny Black was not that busy. So maybe there is a reason why.

Soi Cowboy is famous for the many go-go bars. This one is bar with live band playing and a pool table if you want to avoid the go-go bars. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Service is fast and friendly. Menu prices is reasonable. Watch out for extra drinks orders!

This was the very first bar I went to when I first moved to Bangkok. I absolutely love the live music and the waitresses are always lovely and fun.

It’s always a great time when I go there. Highly recommend for a good time If you enjoy live music.

I would say the only decent place to have a drink in Soi Cowboy. Wait after 9PM as they have a pretty good band playing after 9PM

Lovely place. Have been visiting it every time i go to Bangkok. Maria Band is one of the bands who perform there regularly and they consistently rock the evening. Although at Soi Cowboy, this is one place you can visit with family. Drinks are spot on and decently priced.

I stay here many times bar at street ar very good. Nung and Non did business very well they very attendive and take care.

Been many many times but since covid started 18 months ago it just hasn't been the same.
Great place for some drinks and live music to sing and dance along to. Friendly staff although can become too demanding when they're drunk or they think you're drunk. This is to be expected though when this behaviour is incentivised. Regardless, a fun place to visit and I hope it goes back to how it was once tourism restarts

When we in Bangkok we Go here all the time great music great staff love it as my partner is Thai we get no hassle just have a great time

Seemed a bit old and didn't really have a good vibe. Music was Ok & service good but we ended up going to Hillary 2 which was much better. May be it's for you but not for me.

Okay place. Live music and a small pool table. Most waitresses would ask you for a drink, but if you stand firm, they won't bother you.
