The best tattoo studio in Bangkok. Inksmith made awesome work and had patience for my not so fluent english. Very detailed work and outcome is magnificent with colour. Studio is right next to BTS station, so not much for a walk. Also located on back alley, so there's peace and great place to even hangaround. 5 stars mosdef.

I love how professional yet accommodating the tattooist are. Thank you Chinner for putting on soothing music that felt so hypnotic that I fell asleep during the session. Very creative and helpful right from the beginning. Thank you common ground for the awesome experience. Highly recommended.

It was my first tattoo experience and the artist was really good on doing his job. I'll definitely come back for another piece of arts!

Let me start by saying this place is beautiful, clean, and cool. My tattoo ultimately is done well. The one thing I have to say, and why I'm giving 3 stars is because I asked my artists multiple times for some variations on the piece. He responded by saying no, it will be better this way. I asked 2 more times.because you know its my body and i really wanted it a certain way.to which he still said no really its better this way. The drawing was great, but i asked for it to be a little smaller, to which he responded, no I'm going to be make it about 10% bigger.i'm sorry, what?
Throughout the session there was another thing I asked him not to do, low and behold at the end of my session he did EXACTLY what i asked he not do. Btw, what I was asking for was to change some shapes and not put any freehand on a certain place of my body, none of my requests would degrade the ability for good detail or clean lines. To a degree, this is my fault for not strongly asserting that Im paying you to do it how I want it on my body for the rest of my life. In another vein, if your a tattoo artist, this is one field where the art isn't just about what you like the best, ITS ABOUT WHAT THE CLIENT WANTS TOO…Cool Guys, but don't let them ego tattoo their grand art idea onto you, thats bs, your body your rules.

I was googling for tattoo shops in Bangkok and ended up going to Common Ground Tattoo.

I was met by a friendly man named Chris when making the appointment. He guided me through what they were going to do and made me feel safe all the way.

The tattoo artists name was Martin and he was super professional and nice.
He took the time to care and was very percise in his work.

Very clean place with hygiene as a main focus.

I could recommend this studio to everyone wanting to have a tattoo when in Bangkok.

A very interesting tattoo studio! I came here with a relative without an appointment and the artists were able to draw up our simple design and tattoo it within an hour. The artists all seemed to have varying styles and backgrounds, and there was a relaxed vibe about the place. I enjoyed perusing the art and tattoo books they had available for waiting (or finding a design), and looking at the art and relics in the shop.
*I’m a novice with tattoos so can’t compare with other studios other than what I’ve described

Had a stylized snake tattoo done yesterday and was extremely happy with how it came out — so much so that I came back today for the same artist, Eks, to help fix an older tattoo. He did a great job with that as well. Couldn’t be happier. His taste and technical skill are spot on. He knows exactly what he’s doing.

The place itself is very cool also. Mind you, it’s a rather old building and can be tricky to get around if you’re a big guy like me but, really, it only adds to the charm.

I got my second tattoo from 'Tentas' which I really love- however you have to commit to wait longer than you expect. Even if you have appointment, just because they are quite busy and may take longer. Otherwise it's a decent, hygienic tattoo salon.

Place was clean, staff very friendly. Ten was very nice! Took a lot of time to make sure the tattoo was right before getting started.

A very good tattoo shop in BKK with good artist, me and my girlfriend got a tattoo here in july 2017 and are both happy with the result, good vibe and no pressure the only downside for me is the price which is a bit high for Thailand
