Cohiba Atmosphere Bangkok reviews
18 This is a cigar bar located behind the Silom Complex.
We have a wide selection of cigars and whiskey, so you can have a relaxing and blissful time.
There is also a parking lot
It's a wonderful place to enjoy Japanese whisky.
Most extensive collection of whiskey and cigars I have seen in Bangkok. Overall a great experience.
I visited the bar for a cigar and whisky.
After wandering around in the entrance area for a while because there was no staff member there, I wanted to leave after 5 minutes. A lady from the service staff then came and asked me up. We chose a cigar beforehand. The selection of Cuban cigars was excellent, albeit at typical Thai prices (twice as high as in Germany).
I was taken to the pleasantly furnished bar area on the upper floor. The ambience was somewhat dampened by a very loud group partying in the private separee. Thanks to the large and directly visible whiskey selection, the desire for a scotch grew.
The selection is fabulous, although eight of the whiskies I chose were not available. The menu should be urgently updated here, also because the menu made a dingy impression. This also applies to the toilets, which exude an unpleasant atmosphere and definitely need to be renovated.
However, two of the three whiskies I selected were unfortunately corked, which the staff only noticed after I pointed it out. Of course, they were taken back immediately.
The staff's knowledge of English was rather mediocre, so I often had to explain things several times or differently.
This, coupled with the speedy presentation of the bill, 20 minutes before closing time and after I had just been poured a whisky after a long search, unfortunately leaves a rather negative impression, which unfortunately does not fit in at all with the Kempinski, Cohiba, MacAllen and the prices.
Selection is good plus they have vintage stock, though considerably more expensive than the already expensive Thailand prices. Lounge upstairs opens at 2pm and the downstairs lounge looked uninviting so I didn't buy a cigar or stay for a smoke.
Cigar lovers paradise. Their selection is not the largest but around half of what they have is vintage. But the floor space is enormous, multiple rooms and for smoking in and two separate bar areas with a much wider range of whiskey and rum than cigars. If you’re looking for a place to chillax in BKK and smoke a cigar this is definitely a good recommendation.
Beautifull atmosphere
Massive selection of quallity cigars and liquor. Private rooms, great service,
A must visit if you're a cigar connisour
This is THE place to go for whisky in Bangkok. Tom has curated an amazing collection of whisky and you will understand that as soon as you walk in. Not only is it obvious that he has a passion but he is also a wonderful person to chat with. He is kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. If it’s a busy night you might find he doesn’t have time to chat but I will certainly remember my visit. Make sure you ask him what his favorite drink is, it may surprise you.
Tom, it was a pleasure meeting you and discussing something we both have an interest in. When I am in Bangkok next I will be eager to return to Cohiba. And if you find yourself in Canada, don’t be a stranger.
A pleasant experience, a very good range of brands and types of cigars. The staff very helpful and knowledgeable on the range on sale. Nice selection of accessories to go with your purchase. Relaxed and sat back and enjoyed a 'Master' 20 which was mild, drew well, burned evenly, with spice cominh through in last third. Pity the govt taxes are so harsh which affects the prices. We'll recommend the experience.
บรรยากาศชิลๆ นั่งสบาย
ใครชอบ single malt แนะนำที่นี่เลยครับ
ที่จอดรถไม่มาก แต่มีรับบริการรับจอดรถ
Comfortable cigar divan. Good selection of regular production and some region exclusives Cuban cigars. My cigar is smoking well. Service is good. Drink menu is impressive.
Good selection of Cigars, kept at the optimum RH, I visited a few cigar shops around before coming here. But I'm glad I found it. Purchased some cigars and a new humidor here. The girls are friendly, the place is very elegant, they sell things like Bodeva packs which other cigar shops don't have.
Great service with variety choices of single malt and cigar. The single malt here were already well selected and waiter here can provide you the real good advising.
An absolute must for all whisky and cigar aficionados. Amazing range of cigars and whisky available and brilliant service
A very very elegant Cigar lounge combined with a fantastic selection of single malt whiskeys. Not a cocktail bar. Great ambiance, great service and a great experience.
Warm and Friendly staff. Quiet place and great selection of cigars & single malts. Prices are on the higher end compared European market.
Good service, but never buy cigars in Bangkok in general. All imported, which means high taxes and customer bears the burden. It’s around $30 bucks for a single Partaga no 4 which is 3x more than in the states.
Excellent selection of Single Malts and very fine Cigars of course. Private Rooms, good Service
I brought Cubans home this place. I didn't inspect them because I trusted the previous reviews and the general look of the lounge. I also personally don't know very much about cigars. I brought them home and found out they are fake. I knew I was overpaying and was okay with it because they're hard to get in America. I paid 85 USD for what I thought were two partagas serie d no. 4 cigars. There is glue on the sticker and there is no triple end cap. I was ripped off and they're completely fake. DO NOT COME HERE. Pictures located in "from the menu area"
To the owner: you can see finger prints on the glued on label! They're in the pictures! If you're not selling fake ones, your employees are.
