COFFEE BEANS by Dao (ICONSIAM)

We had a nice lunch there. The staff was very attantive and food was served quickly despite of the fact that the restaurant was full.
Coffee and cake was also good.

We have been eating at Coffee Beans by Dao for more than 20 years. Still yummy here at Icon. Recommended! (However, the pork satay was quite tough)

อาหารอร่อย รสชาติดี วัตถุดิบดี เป็นสาขาที่มีบรรยากาศดี วิวแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา มีทั้งที่อยู่ในอาคารและนอกอาคาร มีลูกค้าเป็นนักท่องเที่ยวมาก ทั้งจีน ญี่ปุ่น อังกฤษ เกาหลี รวมทั้งคนไทย อาหารออกค่อนข้างช้า อาจเพราะว่ามีลูกค้ามาก พนักงานบริการไม่ค่อยทั่วถึง ของหวานมีให้เลือกหลากหลาย เค็กหน้าต่างๆ ราคาค่อนข้างแพง ถ้าเทียบกับร้านอื่น หากมีเพื่อนต่างชาติมาเที่ยว แนะนำค่ะไม่ผิดหวังแน่นอน มีครบจบทุกอย่างทั้งคาว หวาน แนะนำค่ะ

Excellent service.
I ordered two dishes and white rice, but only one dish came out and the other didn't come out until I finished eating the rice. I called the waiter and asked when he would come out, but he just told me to wait longer and left. It was difficult to ask about the situation as there was no waiter in charge of the table. I waited another 15 minutes and asked another employee when he would come out, and he said he would check, but he showed up 10 minutes later and told me I had to wait another 10 minutes. I felt like my order was missing, so I told them I would cancel the order, and they canceled it right away. Since a considerable amount of time had already passed since I ate the first dish, it was difficult to eat more. I was still hungry, but I felt uncomfortable eating again now, so I gave up, paid the bill, and left. I was so tired and stressed from waiting for when it would come out and trying to figure out what the situation was. It's a restaurant I don't want to go to again because I'm so annoyed that I don't know what I ate or what I did.
Worst experience.

ชอบร้านนี้มาก อาหารรสชาติดี ราคาเทียบกับร้านอื่นก็กลางๆ จริงๆชอบเค้กร้านนี้มากแต่วันที่ไปเค้กที่ชอบกินหมดทุกอย่าง สาขานี้นักท่องเที่ยวเยอะมาก เพิ่งรู้ว่านักท่องเที่ยวก็มามากินเค้กร้านนี้กัน ที่นั่งมีโซนริมน้ำ ที่นั่งด้านในเว้นระยะห่างกำลังพอดีไม่แน่นเกินไป มีที่นั่งชั้นบนด้วย

อาหารอร่อยทุกสัญชาติเลยค่ะ เมนูเยอะมากกกกก พนักงานน่ารักมากๆ รอบหน้าไปทานของหวานสักหน่อยแล้วน้องๆที่นี่แนะนำเค้ก แต่วันนี้กินเยอะมากจุกไม่ไหวว

2 levels (stairs), direct sunlight in the afternoon. Food is good same as other branches. Price is moderate.

They don't have oat milk for the coffee (almost all good cafes have it now in Bangkok).

I picked an outdoor seating for dinner. A very nice spot near the river.
The food are great. The best Baked Spinach with Cheese I ever had.
Delicious cake as always!
It was fully booked and the staff seem to be a bit overload but manageable.

Coffee beans by dao is always good choice to have food casually without thinking too much. Every menu is more than average and both thai and western foods are good. Specially, Icon siam branch has outdoor tables so it is good.

The worst experience I had as a tourist in Thailand. They don’t speak English and they don’t try to understand your needs. Very disappointed because the overall experience at Iconsiam Mall was excellent. The waiter was very rude.

Don’t go if you want to taste local Thai food.

️ ตอนแรกจะมาทาน เค้ก กับ กาแฟเฉยๆ แต่คนในโต๊ะเห็นเมนู อดใจสั่งอาหารไม่ได้เลย

‍️ การบริการ กลายเป็นประสบการณ์ที่แย่ เรามาที่นี่แล้ว 2 ครั้ง ครั้งแรกไม่ใช่เทศกาลลูกค้าไม่เยอะก็โอเค มาครั้งนี้ วันที่ 26 ธ. ค. เวลา ประมาณ 16.00 น. กว่าๆ เดินไปหน้าร้าน พนักงานผู้ชายใส่แว่นดูมีอายุ หันมายกมือหยุดเรา บอกว่าต้องรอนะ แล้วก็บลาๆๆๆ ไม่มีความประทับใจแรกที่ได้เจอพนักงานเลย เรามากันครอบครัว 5 คน

จากนั้นพาลูกค้า 2 ท่านที่มาหลังเราเข้าไปอันนี้เข้าใจได้เหลือโต๊ะ 2 ที่นั่ง ต่อมาก็พาลูกค้า 4 ท่านที่มาหลังเราไปนั่งด้านบน อ้าว! มีตะโกนถาม พนง. คนนั้นตะโกนถาม พนง. ข้างบนว่าเปิดเหรอ พนงข้างบน. ก็บอกเปิด เราก็เลยจะไปนั่ง พอพาเดินผ่าน โซนด้านนอก เห็นมีคนนั่งแล้ว 1 โต๊ะ พนง. ก็ถามกันเองอีกว่าเปิดเหรอ พอเรารู้ว่าเปิดก็เลยขอนั่งด้านนอก

***นี่ทำงานกันยังไง ไม่มีใครตัดสินใจงานในร้านเลยเหรอ อยากเปิดปิดโซนไหนก็ได้ตามใจพนักงานคนไหนก่อน. เข้าใจว่าด้านนอกเปิด 17.00 น. แต่ก็เพราะว่าอากาศร้อน หรือ ไม่มีพนักงานดูแล แต่โต๊ะด้านในเต็มจะแก้อย่างไรครับ

‍️ พนักงานที่ดีก็มีครับ คนรับออเดอร์ พนักงานเสริฟอาหารผู้ชายเสื้อดำก็บริการดี ช่วยเหลือดีครับ

เรายืนรอที่บ้านลุกออกจากร้าน ที่บริเวณตู้เก็บอุปกรณ์ พนง. คนนี้เดินมาโยน! กล่องอุปกรณ์ทำความสะอาดไว้ใกล้เรา เฮีย? มารยาทแบบนี้ ปกติเค้ายังไม่ทำกันเลย แต่นี้เป็นบริการของร้านอาหารนะ ทัศนะคติในการทำงาน, พนง. ที่นี่คิดไรกันก่อน. (เราต้ดสินใจสักพักก่อนเดินไปว่าพนง. ที่โยนของใส่เรา บอกว่า อย่าทำแบบนี้กับใครอีก)

***สรุปเลย เราจะไปอีกนะ น้องสาวชอบเค้กสตอเบอรี่อร่อย หวังว่าการบริการจะดีขึ้น มีมารยาททางสังคมก็พอ

Stylish, nice menue - but service is extremely slow and it was the least friendly we experienced in our entire trip to Thailand.
Better look somewhere else to indulge yourself - there are plenty of possiblities.

The outdoor seating is a must during the cool winter season of Bangkok. This is the place where you can enjoy good foods, chill wind and, of course, panoramic view of the Chaopraya River, which runs through the heart of Bangkok. The best time is during the quiet morning hours when not many mall shoppers present.
The place is good for bringing kids too. They'll love the desserts and many drink choices.

Bad service, the waiter here walking around forget our order. We been waiting and asking for it three time and still no one coming with our missing order never again.

Meow was our server and her recommendations were fabulous! Spent Loy Krathong overlooking the Chao Praya river and listening to beautiful music. Such a perfect night! Highly recommend this place when you want to celebrate something special.
