43This restaurant is the main thing I look forward to when coming to Thailand. Amazing, authentic South Indian food
Delicious and quality Southern Indian food. The prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. Will definitely visit again.
I had wanted to try here and met a friend at the location. We walked in, it looked closed with all lights off. There was one man in the back laying down on his phone didn’t acknowledge us. We asked if they were open he nodded but didn’t get up or off phone. I asked about the ac he got up and I looked around and it looked so dirty so I said never mind and we went to eat at Suananda where it is clean and hospitable.
Visited on 10th Oct 2020. Very delicious food. The owners are an elderly couple who run the place and the food served is awesome quality. Ordered Mysore Rava masala dosa followed by Kapi. It really spiced up my day. Will head out again for the Thali set.read avial & rasam. Or should I go for the Parotha n' kurma.oh dear!
(IMP: Being a pure veg place, the restaurant does not smell of fish oil).
Food good, but the service appalling. Waited long time to be seated, restaurant totally empty. Staff didn't say one word to me, menu thrown down on the table as was the food. I've seen good reviews for the service here. Maybe because Covid is coming back, but they should appreciate every customer. Especially when they will have very few customers for the next few weeks
If You are looking for South Indian Home Food then Chennai Kitchen is one on the Choice Not Much Expensive. Must Try
Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Bangkok. The owners are very personable and the dosa is excellent.
One of my favorite restaurants in Bangkok. Authentic, delicious home style South Indian cooking. If you love Indian food then this is definitely a place you should visit.again and again.
The cook/waiter coughing and not wearing a mask. Dosas down the street are better with larger portions of side dips.
Air Condition is o.k. The food here is really Good. I guarantee. The shop opens at 10.00 everymorning. Please come and visit.
Freshest, good quality South Indian food in Bangkok. My husband ordered a take away and everything was freshly cooked, very flavorful. I am a big fan of soft Idlis and Rava dosas and I’m so glad to have found this little gem. The owner is very kind as well. I just wish it was closer to Sukhumvit:/
Good place to eat South Indian vegetarian food. Good personal service given by uncle. I surely recommend to visit.
Have been here before, and last night was best we've had. Great dosa and the stewed okra was best I have ever had. Please help this great restaurant survive!
While other restaurants are giving discount for delivery, Chennai kitchen instead bumped up the price by 20%. There are plenty of good Indian places. Don’t support a restaurant that choose to take advantage of COVID — I accepted to pay an extra 30% on top of original bill for delivery service fee to support local restaurants, only to be told that I also need to pay extra 20% for food.

This location has a great set of people, they are wonderful and so sweet and always working hard! It's also very busy at this location and the employees are just so darn and great! Thank you!
I came here after reading about south Indian food in Bangkok near where I was staying. It was quiet as they were closing, but they still served me. I had the Mysore Dosa. Absolutely delicious!
Horrendous, rude service. Actually got up and walked out the server was so unkind to our family.
Went here as the highly rated south Indian around the corner was closed for new year. Needless to say was not disappointed in the least. Quiet, cosy and clean. Lovely gentleman guided our choices and left with full bellies and sated appetites.
If you are craving for some authentic south indian food this is the place to come to. Light on your pocket and heavy on your stomach. Be sure to try some soft and scrumptious Idli and Vada. Best part is they are in the heart of bangkok
