Chatrium Grand Bangkok reviews
1 I just spent 4 nights in this hotel and I have a mix feeling.
The rooms are nice and clean and very confortable
The hotel is still new and you can feel it.
The level of service is not at the standard of what you can expect from this such hotel in Bangkok
First:
The breakfast
If you are tired from your night or your flight, than be patient at the breakfast, you will have to wait in line for more than 20 to 30 minutes to get seated
According to the manager: « the hotel capacity had been reached during Christmas break and the closed a 2nd place for breakfast normally located at the 7th floor , plus they open the breakfast for the guest located at the residence near by (2nd tower)
When you have the chance to get a seat
Than be patient again for your cappuccino… the staff is overwhelmed and over the 4 days I was lucky when I get a black coffee or be patient to get my order…
Room cleaning…
Here despite using the service request button located on the door,
Over 4 nights my room at been serviced 2 out of 4 and I had to ask the receptionist to send to staff to clear my room at 6pm when I was back for my day of visit really despointing
so yes they have a golf car service to go to the mall located 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel…
Again mixed feelings, and quite desappointed for Bangkok … the price was not cheap at all trust me!
