Café Tartine

Used to have the best sandwich in Bangkok (BAB). No kidding, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Basically flew back here just for this sandwich, seriously. I was a bit disappointed though: not as much onion relish, bacon was super dry and hard, the only thing I might be wrong on is the sauce: thought it used to be horseradish, and now it was dijon, and not enough. It was still okay, but consistency is key. Like I said: used to be the best sandwich. Service is good though

I clearly ordered the wrong thing as I got a sandwich on sourdough and there were no fillings, the sandwich was super dry and probably the worse sandwich I have ever had in my life? But, o guess look at this compared to the other photos.

Cute place. Ordered Brie Avocado salad and fell in love with the mango chutney dressing.
The homemade iced tea is very special too. Couldn’t figure out the refreshing taste and they said it’s lemon (no sourness at all!)

Good coffee.
I ordered Croque Monsieur.
The bread, ham and cheese were very good, but the bechamel ruined completely the experience.
I will try tomorrow.

Really loved visiting cafe tartine in Bangkok. They bake their own french bread and have a brilliant selection of sandwiches and salads. Great brunch menu too with egg options and avocado toast. Definitely check it out.

We stopped at Cafe Tartine after hearing that they did good food, and we weren't disappointed! We ordered the California sandwich and the cheeseburger, along with a mint lemonade and an iced tea, which was refillable!

My burger was very tasty, but 'medium' meant very raw/cold in the middle.

Loses a star because they add 17% to the bill at the end (10% service + 7% tax) which isn't mentioned in the menu at all (that we noticed!) and takes it up to being a bit more money than we expected.

Super healthy for your wallet.
Promotion before 9: 00 pm beer = 90 baht.
Nice outdoor chill out table in the middle of town.

Lovely place for a good brunch (or lunch) and nice coffee. Very reasonable prices for the quality of food and the portions. Have come back many times and always great!

Stumbled across this place, I wish I didn’t.
Service staff were so rude, all of them wore a perpetual scowl. It kinda spoilt the breakfast even before the food was served. Food wise, pretty average, nothing I would call fantastic.

Great breakfast place with good selection of sandwiches and salads, You can create your own Omelette, more than a dozen of toppings. Staff have very good knowledge of food and beverages. Homemade Iced Tea (free refill).
They also have a promotion for 99tbh any kind of of Coffee or hot chocolate, one croissant and shot of orange juice.
The atmosphere is laid back, very diverse crowd and lots of options for tourists and expatriates.
I enjoyed this family restaurant in BKK, highly recommended to meet friends and family.

Like the breakfast brunch, less 200thb for a big western brunch with coffee or hot choco. A bit pricy than value for other food.

One of my favorite little cafes in Bangkok. Living in this area I have come to find quiet a few amazing places, away from the tourist traps. Cafe Tartine services both the expat community living and working in the area, and those passing through well. Fast, polite service from the moment you walk in. Staff have very good knowledge of food and beverages they sell, and can advise you what to pair with your food if you ask. Food is always cooked to perfection, drinks are always good. Well priced for the area. A must stop place when this side of town!

I made it a point to visit Cafe Tartine every time I came to Bangkok. Lovely space, staff, and food.

I wanted to go back every morning during our time in Bangkok! The Dolphin Eggs Benedict and avocado toast on healthy grain bread!

Maybe I ordered the wrong item or delivered the wrong message. But when I ordered an omelette I didn’t expect to see scrambled eggs drenched in oil. I requested to add avocado expecting to see them on top but apparently they mixed the avocado into the eggs. The end product looks and tastes weird. The tomato is delicious though.

Very good care for a cheap price of food. I ordered "steak frites" for 450 TBH and was very impressed that a high quality rib eye like such could come for quite cheap

It’s another wonderful cafe, not so far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok. A stones throw from the Phloenchit station.

I went with a friend in the evening. She had reserved a place for us. Though, a reservation may come highly recommended during the weekend. They’ve got a good selection though I selected Coconut Water and Quiche Lorraine. The Quiche was a little too heavy for my liking. The prices here are reasonable for the quantity.

It’s quite good to catch up with friends, have a meeting or even just chill with yourself.
Last but not the least, it’s pet friendly.

This great little cafe has kept its standards & quality at reasonable prices for over 10 years! Authentic bistro menu, lots of desserts, good coffee, decent wines. Don't miss the poulet roti freshly roasted in a rotisserie outside the front door.tender, juicy, very tastily marinated; comes with choice of 2 sides, what a deal! Croque monsieur, quiches, egg dishes also popular.
Service is efficient in this busy place, yet the staff are pleasant, which is unlike most busy Bangkok eateries.

Delicious! Always creative specials of the day. Comfortably sat outside without dying in heat and being accosted by flies.

Just the kind of cafe where you can spend few hours just chilling. Not exactly casual, but the feel of the cafe makes you comfortable.
