An incredibly hospitable stay! The price is great, the staff is great, the amenities are there, perfect Sukhumvit stay for when you're in BBK.

Nasty Owners, be careful here, place is the worst, i would be suspicious of any of those positive reviews below, very suspect, proceed with caution is all i can say - This place is not know for anything positive or professional, merci:)

I have to agree with the other Reviews, this place and its managment are Abusive, this is not the Bodega hostel i remember from past trips, it was bought by a bunch of jokers who have no idea what they are doing and plainly cannot behave themselves in front of guests, it was empty when i was there and felt terrible, they seem to hire staff with no experience they can dominate and who will not expose them for their stupidity or lack of experience, i just felt bad here, like it was all for nothing, a feeling of shame hung over everybody, black and ginger cat were ok but yeah might want to stay away from here it will rob you of any positivity in your travels, Sad bad place: (

Really bad experience! They should care more about the guests; in booking there’s no info about check in time, so we arrive at 23.40 to the hostel and there was a sign saying check in is till 23.30, no contact number, no emergency number, no nothing to help in those cases! So we paid a night and we had to sleep somewhere else.
Plus, cockroaches on the room, no water on toliets.

No party, no pub crawl, the price of the cocktails wasn’t acceptable cuz they don’t even know how to make it still need to look at the recipe except the room and ac everything is just dead

Was the first customer after the re-opening and had an absolute blast! The staff was amazing and really cared for the guests. Food and drinks are great as well and so is the cleanliness. Definitely recommend!

Hostel was good, washroom was having a door lock issue.
Less people, bag packers who like quite environment then its good for them.
But this location is very far from khao san road.

Pretty cool hostel, very social atmosphere with both the guests and the staff being friendly. The food from the kitchen is both cheap and delicious, and a good sized portion on top of it.

Pros: The room was great. I got good sleep every night I was there. The washrooms were clean and tidy. The staff were helpful. Location is pretty convenient. They provide free clean towels.

Cons: My room in particular was on the third floor and boy it was difficult to drag my luggage up so many stairs. Definitely did not give the vibe of a party hostel. The first night, I thought it was just me not being social enough. But from the second day, I realised the vibe was pretty dead. It was the least party *party hostel* I ahve ever been to. Even though they played good music, there was barely anyone at all near the bar. I had read reviews that sounded wild and wanted a similar environment. But this was nothing like I imagined. There was a ping pong table neatly arranged and absolutely untouched over the weekend. Just a few people smoking up occasionally outside the reception. The music stopped by 8/9pm everyday and there was absolutely no loud movement after that (hence, the good sleep, lol). The staff did not converse more than required. No efforts were taken by the hostel to make sure the guests were having a good time *socially*. No events at all. The hostel is right next to a huge public dustbin that stinks as hell and is a home to at least 12 rats.

Excellent hostel situated in an amazing location! Near 7-11 / convenience store and near a motorbike taxi stand.

The hostel itself has been newly renovated and therefore appears brand-new. The staff are great and speak excellent English.
Food and drinks are also highly recommended here.

They've just done some renovations and the place is just awesome. Staff are happy to help out with whatever you need, everything is clean and beds are comfy! No reason not to give it a whirl

I couldn't get in with my luggage, the entrance was totally blocked. I called the front desk and explained the matter. The lady only made hand signals for me to come over, she didn't even want to come to me herself. Sry I'm not Spiderman so I can just jump over the cars. That's why I just left. Too bad you can scare the customers away. Those who are wider than 10cm cannot pass the cars, be careful. If you have luggage you have to carry it on your back

On which day pub crawl happens? Can you tell me the other activities going to happen… I will stay there on 16 th and 17 th august on my birthday.heard lot of good things about your hostel just booked on the day itself it had reopened on 20 th july

Great for hikers. We didn't get a bed in sharing quarters, wound up taking separate 4 sharing room.
Come here to liquor more and party more.
Now and then you'll observe individuals get bare while celebrating and comes to your room

Bodega was an awesome experience. I made so many new friends from all around the world.

Special shout out to Ghanji and Julien for showing me a good time. They were so nice and chill.

Amazing people! The Manager (Tate) is amazing! Got my money stolen from my locker from someone else who stayed, he went above and beyond to help me!

I met a lot of lovely people here, we still keep in contact even after months and plan on meeting here again soon. It's definitely a party

Clean, decent facilities and close to transport links. One of the best hostel I’ve stayed in, the whole place has a really fun vibe (as the name suggests).

I was travelling alone and the team were welcoming and friendly from check in to check out, special thanks to Eden and Danny two of the hosts during my stay. Also recommend the bar crawl, it’s worth the money and good way to meet people.

A very good place to stay not far from the action. We were an older crowd so the rules got bent a little for us. We missed out on the after pub parties as everyone was in bed by the time we were getting in.

We did get a very good breakfast reccomendation.

Seen a review on the negative on the cleanliness, I can only comment what I saw and everything was perfectly clean where we stayed and have no complaints at all.would recommend anyone else staying Bangkok on a budget to go there.
