Bansabai Hostel

The hotel staff speaks English very well and is very friendly. The electrical outlets are international which is very practical. The rooms are clean and spacious. The swimming pool is pleasant. There are lots of small food vendors in the nearby streets and a supermarket less than a minute's walk away.
In my opinion, there is no kettle in the room to be able to make coffee or instant noodles.

เป็นสถานที่สามารถจัดประชุมได้ แต่ไม่มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก การบริการแย่มากเนื่องจากเป็นโฮสเทล ต้องช่วยเหลือตัวเอง การบริการ ห้องพัก ไม่ค่อยสมราคา

ห้องพักสะอาด สงบ แอร์หนาว เย็นเร็ว เหมาะแก่การมาพักผ่อน
ส่วนกลางค่อนข้างสะดวก มีครัวให้ใช้ มีตู้เย็นส่วนกลาง มีเครื่องซักผ้าหยอดเหรียญ คลื่น wifi แรงทั่วถึง ชั้นล่างมีขายขนมนิดๆ หน่อยๆ กาน้ำร้อน เครื่องดื่มง่ายๆ และสลัดผักออแกนนิค
เจ้าหน้าที่ฟร้อนท์อัธยาศัยดี ถึงจะไม่ทุกคนแต่ก็ถือว่าทำหน้าที่ได้น่าประทับใจ

มาดูข้อเสียบาง
ระเบียงห้องพักจะเต็มไปด้วยขี้นก ใช้งานไม่ค่อยได้จริง
อ่างอาบน้ำเป็นแบบกึ่งนั่ง แช่ทั้งตัวไม่ได้ สำหรับคนที่คิดจะมาเล่น bathboom ข้ามไปได้เลย
ส้วมไม่ค่อยสะอาด มีคราบน้ำและบางครั้งมีกลิ่น
การต่อ wifi ต้องต่อผ่านเว็ป ซึ่งต่อค่อนข้างยาก
หากแม่บ้านมาทำความสะอาดตอนไม่อยู่ วางเศษตังทิ้งไว้ก็จะหายบ้าง
ตู้เย็นส่วนกลางใช้ฝากแช่ได้ แต่ต้องติดเลขห้องไว้ด้วยไม่งั้นหายอีก
เครื่องซักผ้าหยอดเหรียญค่อนข้างเน่า ซักไม่สะอาด
ที่จอดรถในร่มมีทั้งหมด 12 ช่อง เจ้าของยึดไป 4 จอดตายอีก 2 ที่เหลือเป็นของพวกเช่ารายเดือนที่ไม่ค่อยยอมออกกัน นอกนั้นจอดตากแดดตากขี้นกตากยางไม้ และถ้าเผลอเข้าไปจอดในที่จอดรถเจ้าของ รถจะเป็นรอยขีดข่วนปริศนา ขอดูกล้องก็อ้างว่ากล้องเสียจับมือใครดมไม่ได้

Internet was not working anywhere but on the ground floor, our intent was to stay here two days to get some online admin done. The ground floor has a bunch of tables outside on a slope, which makes them uncomfortable to spend time on. The hostel wouldn't give us a discount, why am I expected to pay full price when you don't provide the full services advertised?
The area is a million miles outside the center of bangkok. There are a couple of food street markets within walking distance which we enjoyed.
The beds are uncomfortable and only exacerbated our jet lag.
There's 1 bowl in the kitchen, we enjoyed our breakfast in a tupperware.

Hello We stayed there for 2 weeks. Rooms were good. Terrace pool is decent. Location of the hotel is also great for traveller's looking to stay in a peaceful area. It had 2 7-Eleven stores at a walking distance. During rainy season, the road is filled with water which takes 2-3 hours to drain properly. You need to take a taxi if you’re in rush to go anywhere. Only thing that I not liked about the place is the cleaning of rooms. They don't do it. When there were 3-4 days left to our check out, they literally stopped doing the cleaning. So you need to keep knocking them for the cleaning service at their reception desk. Although, it's a good place to stay for short duration or longer duration. Grab is easily available at this place. No idea about the public transport because we didn't use it. Nearest metro station was Lat Phrao.

Great roof top viewing area with pool; excellent staff. I prefer this is the real unspoiled Thailand location.

เตียงนิ่มมาก สบู่น้ำยาสระผมหอม มีผ้าเช็ดหัวให้ บรรยากาศโดยรอบดีมากๆ เสียดายจ่ายบัตรเครดิตในแอปไม่ได้ ไฟในห้องมืดไปหน่อย แต่โดยรวมดีมากครับ

1. In the kitchen there were no plates, and there was only one spoon and one fork. One day there were no spoons at all. I asked a staff member (the old lady washing the hydroponic salads), but she didn't answer anything. She simply ignored me. Later I saw her talking to one of the maids, so she wasn't deaf. That was rude.
2. The pots and frying pans in the kitchen were all burnt (see the pictures attached). This is disrespect towards the guests. If they open up the kitchen, they must buy decent cooking utensils.
3. The kitchen is supposed to close at 9 pm. But on one evening I came down at 8.40 pm, and it was already closed.
4. The filter of the AC in the room hadn't been cleaned in a long while, dust was clearly visible (see the picture).
5. Bedsheets had stains on them.
6. Every time after rain, the street where the hotel is gets flooded. It's impossible to go out until the next day.
7. The swimming pool was nice, but the door of the shower won't close.
3. The room was spacious. But there were geckons there. And the door of the bathroom couldn't be opened freely, it always banged against the toilet.

I've never been in such a wretched room
television before Christ.air conditioning maybe 20 years.
All belongings are bad old and wretched.
This room is not even 100 baht.even into this room 1 star is too much

Mosquitoes in the room. TV reception wasn't clear. However, 5 stars to the super friendly and helpful staffs.

Would i recommend this place? Definitely yes

I emailed the hostel asking for an airport pickup. They replied saying yes. But when I arrived no one was there to get me!
I Facebook messaged them and they said I had to pay in advance for it. But they had emailed me saying yes to the pickup and never mentioned a payment or how to submit it!

Then I got my room and it smelled of mildew. The bathroom reeked of sulphur. The bed sagged.

The website said breakfast included, but when I asked for tea in the morning they told me I had not booked a room that includes breakfast. They said only certain rooms get breakfast or even tea.

So I asked to see the menu. At this point I'd learned to be skeptical, so when I wanted the "Continental breakfast" I made sure to ask what it included. It does NOT have eggs like in the picture. They then told me the pics are not actually what's on the menu. Why have pics then?

In short, don't believe the website. Book somewhere else!

Clean, beautiful, I loved this hostel! The pool on the rooftop is great for refreshment and the organic garden is impressive. You could see how different types of lettuce grow there, you can see how the gardeners work and you can even help yourself! The rooms are clean, cozy, there is a fridge and TV. It's a bit far from the center though but the neighborhood is great! Food markets all around, fresh fruit. The bus stop is 5 min walk.

Very cozy spot with a roof top pool.a little bit of a drive to the center but I like the quiet neighbourhood. They have eating areas on the main floor and second floor. Staff are very sweet and polite. Rooms are a good size. 711 and family mart 3 min walk.

Private rooms are a good size and come with a bath and shower. Rooftop area and pool is a great place to chill out. Food that was prepared was nice. The training room was well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel is a bit far out from the centre but things to do in the area, lots of markets and a cinema and shopping centre.

Relaxed. Ok for older children. Beautiful but run down pool area. Charming rooms but would not recomend if you have any dust allergy, I hade to clean so my daughter could sleep. Super helpful main receptionist. Overall nice staff but also some less nice. Ok food. Would recomend if you like us have a reason to stay in this area of Bangkok, but oterwise be aware that you will be far from most turist sights.
