Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic Silom Branch

It was a TERRIBLE experience.

I had a tooth cleaning at Silom branch yesterday.
For the first time, my gum bled after and one small piece of my inner upper gum was even missing! See photo. I wonder if it will grow back.

This is caused by the too strong level of water jet and the impatience of the young dentist.he wants to finish quick.in less than just 30 minutes.

When I asked why bleeding after with pain? He said it is ‘NORMAL’, in a certain and impatient way.

The pain and gum bleeding continued the whole afternoon and night.

I do tooth cleaning at least once a year, in different cities. For decades, I had never experienced anything closer anywhere in the world before. Not in Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur or Vancouver. It was a torture! They caused damage of my teeth and gum. I will wait and see for few days and reserve my right to take further actions!

I am not giving 1 star. I give Zero or Negative.

Went for teeth cleaning. They cleaned them very professionally. No faults found, no pressure whatsoever for overselling. Everyone spoke good English. What costed me $55, would have costed me over 200 dollars in Canada. Would highly recommended Bangkok Smile Dental for all your dental needs.

We didn’t manage to make reservation but got two appointments for 2 days later for our oral hygiene service. Very friendly and helpful staff, good quality service and responsible doctor. Would come back again!

Excellent. Went in for a clean & expecting at least 2 fillings. After exam & x-rays it turned out there was no cavities, so no pressure for unnecessary work. Great staff & communication (English), prompt, professional and good value. Happy to recommend

Friendly and helpful staff. Dentist spoke good English as did staff. Service was very professional and great price.
My Mum ended up going back herself for a clean and whitening. Both of us are very pleased. Highly recommended.

I was visiting from the UK in June and needed some dental work and clean. My local friend recommended Bangkok Smile. The service I received was absolutely great. I ended up going there 3 times to fix all my problems. First visit, I saw Dr Park N, I told him I had a sensitive tooth and the dentist in London couldn’t fix it. He checked carefully and found out what the problem was, explain to me what he would do to help and he managed to fix my tooth.

Then I went back for general check-up and cleaning. I saw Dr Sunisa G who was also fantastic, she pointed out to me the other issues of my teeth and show me on mirror. She fixed all the problem and gave me a good clean!

The fee they charge was very reasonable, all staff were very polite and spoke good English. Definitely would go back.

Very easy to make an appointment. Clean and proffessional clinic. Doctor spoke very good english and was very friendly. Will definatly come again:)

My appointment was at 10.45am. They had me waited for alomst an hour to see the clear aligner dentist. I do not recommend for those who are in a rush. But if you have time. You can experience for yourself.

I made an appointment for a laser teeth whitening. Upon arrival, the dentist said I needed to have my teeth cleaned, even though it was done 6 weeks prior. Next he told me he needed to fix some abrasions, 4 in total. Now the good part. He said he was going to use the new Zoom whitening system, not laser whitening. He proceeded with the procedure. 1 1/2 hrs later my teeth were the same color. They have been double talking me for 3 weeks and refuse to redo the procedure or refund the charges, $500!
I could have had this done in the USA for less. So much for dental work in Thailand at 1/3 the price.

AVOID THIS PLACE!

Staff are very kind and nice. Doctor explained me every process of treatment before done! Highly recommended:)

I would like to come back for get teeth whitening and I like services here. They're friendly, lovely and good take care of me. All Dentist are great and explain very clearly.

Dr. Raviporn and her staffs were very welcoming and caring. Answers every inquiries and explains procedures. The doctor and staffs are very friendly and easy to talk with. A very good and welcoming place. Very recommended.

I was meant to go to the BK Smile in Sukhumvit but they had no availability so I went here. The dentist was very friendly and nice. But after never needing fillings all my life, I was told I need three here (four originally but one went away after he did the clean). Due to confusion, I declined and got a second opinion in Australia in which they said my teeth have stained fishers, not holes/cavities and fillings were not needed.
I think the dentists here need more experience and are over cautious with their recommendations. So if you’re needing work done, I’d get a second opinion.
I also paid for a professional clean and it took him about 5 minutes.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back to this practice.

Fail to tell you in advance that the dentist won't be there for the period of time required for your treatment but instead waits until you are in the chair and tell you then. Make sure you get an answer if they will be available for ALL the time you will be there or they will want you to play musical chairs with other dentists. I used to love their service but communications is one of their major failings of late and in very serious need of improvement. Maybe next time I will request a clinic in Sukhumvit instead

My experience wasn't so good here. My filling cracked after a few months but I wasn't in BKK to take advantage of their 6 month guarantee. Also it's a dental clinic for tourists so your going to pay more here. They wanted 1500baht to clean my teeth lmao! I politely declined. I now go to a non tourist dentist and pay half the prices quoted here.

Went here for a dental cleaning and was very satisfied with the procedure and the whole service around. I contacted them by email and got a very quick reply and an appointment on the requested day. As I arrived at Silom earlier than expected it was even no problem to receive the treatment earlier than the scheduled appointment. Overall, very friendly and professional.

I have been here several times for standard cleaning and polishing for teeth. This time, it was the same for me but horrible for my partner. The dentist taking care of him seemed quite young and inexperienced, and had been very careless with his gums. They were cut and bloody in multiple places.

While we do expect a degree of discomfort in dental procedures, we found this unacceptable. When I brought this up, they just said that this is normal as he had stains under his gums. Not coming back here again as I no longer have confidence in their services. You can get better dental care and better service for the same price elsewhere.

Would have given 4 stars but they try to pull a sneaky move in pricing. For a standard teeth cleaning, they tell you before hand in email that the price is 1000 to 1500 baht depending upon the amount of tartar in your teeth. In the west, there is just one price regardless but ok, I can see how if you show up with green teeth it's going to take them much more time to fix you up. They remind you in the waiting room again of the price range. I came with my girlfriend and we both were admitted into two different dentist rooms at the same time. My dentist after looking at my teeth said, ok it'll be 1000 to 1200 baht. Thinking my teeth are super clean and you just examined them, I ask him why the range still. He looks again at my teeth for 3 seconds and he says, ok, 1000 baht. He takes about 20 minutes cleaning my teeth, finishes, and then I head down to find my girlfriend already done. We go to pay, and her bill is 1200 baht while mine is 1000 baht. We point this out, and the front desk people say there was more tartar. We respond, well she finished first before me, but my bill is lower. Her dentist also told her her teeth were really clean coming in. They then look confused, talk amongst themselves, and say sorry, 1000 baht. Clearly this is a little thing they run on unsuspecting tourists who aren't paying enough attention.

Had a dental cleaning done here. Lasted about 10 minutes, cost was 1300 b (40 USD). Nothing special, they did the minimum, had no interaction with a dentist, just the dental hygienist. They acted very professional prior to the appointment, many messages and documents to fill out but during the actual cleaning it felt like things were rushed a bit.
