Bangkok Shambhala Meditation Center reviews
8I was looking for a meditation center in Bangkok and I’m glad that I ended up at Shambhala. James gave us instructions in meditation that was followed by a group discussion which was super nice. I had an interesting talk with James on Tibetan Buddhism later on. I would highly recommend Shambhala Meditation center.
First of all I wanna thank you my friend Eva for the invitation to go there. I had a wonderful time and met some mindfulness people. James the meditation instructor from US is great and we had a awesome group discussion. The one and only Thai lady at the meditation center is very kind and polite. I enjoy a lot thank you
I really enjoyed Shambhala Meditation Center.
Fantastic energy.
Thank you Jamie.
We will always be very grateful for the teachings Jamie offered us at the Shambala center. A spark was lit, that is now pleasantly pushing us every day to become better persons.
Life has actually been a bit difficult for us this last year. I honestly think that we would not have navigated these obstacles the way we did without some of the enlightenments learned through meditation practice. Of course, we are not warriors all the time.but I cannot imagine how it would have worked out without all the personal development we've achieved through meditation and the teachings received at the center.
Thank you very much for this gift!
This place has quite place for medidation.
I have really good mood when i was there.
But i think meditation dont need you to go far place. We can meditate everywhere.
If our room is not quiet, plug earphone, play forest sound and close our eye.
It helps so much to be part of a sangha and I feel that coming here is such an important part of my practice. Jamie welcomed us when we had never meditated before and over 2 years we have had wonderful conversations that have deepened our understanding of Buddhism and spirituality. The guest speakers are a great experience too. I would recommend this
Centre to everyone and suggest you take the meditation courses too.
My husband and I found the Bangkok Shambhala Centre during a difficult period of searching. Not even knowing what we were seeking, we realized our search was over when we arrived here. This is a place of sanity and sanctuary where you feel safe and supported to discover the cause of your suffering and, with Jamie’s skilled guidance, to maintain your commitment to the path away from suffering.
Jamie shares his devotion in such a way as to create a sangha of openness, connectedness, commitment to awakening and also lightheartedness. There is often much laughter as we go about our serious work.
Jamie also invites luminaries from the field of Shambhala Buddhism who create evenings of tremendous joy and insight but who also leave great gifts with the sangha.
The centre is frequented by really experienced practitioners. But also by novices like us. Both find abundant opportunities for maintenance, friendship, joyfulness and growth here.
Highly recommended.
