One of my favorite places in Bangkok! Very cool ceramics studio where you can work independently on any kind of project you like! Ross is there to help by answering questions and give you tips. You can also get a quick run through on how to use the pottery wheel. I am a total beginner in ceramics and I was made to feel very comfortable and free to try new ideas I had. Your first visit, you work with the clay and then you can glaze and/or paint your pieces on the second visit. I always meet interesting people here when I visit. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here for two years now and it is one of the highlights for me in Bangkok! It’s a meet-up group and not a class, so there are people who’ve done pottery for years and new-comers are also welcome. I appreciate that it’s much cheaper than other pottery studios out there, but the quality of service is high. There is space for us to make what we want in our pace and the owner is always patient to guide and support us. I got to experiment various new techniques with the things I’ve made. He also handles our work with extreme care as his own in the firing and glazing, and works hard to accommodate our asks. Great place to hang out with friends who want to be creative!

Great place, very relaxed atmosphere, lots of examples to draw inspiration from, and you are given the space to try things out while being able to have advice to guide you. Good to plan on going twice if you would like to bring some items home, as your item needs to be fired so it becomes hard. You can make as many items as you like during the time frame of the session. Highly recommend it!

I found them through meet up and it’s a nice way to learn about ceramics and meet friends.

This is the only place (and the cheapest one in Bangkok) that allows a 3 hour intro and exploration into pottery and ceramics

They provide the clay, the wheel and other materials, plus they will cook your ceramics for you.

Pottery has always been something I’ve been interested to try however most ceramics and pottery places in Bangkok offer a pricey course or 15-40 hours bulk packages ceramics program.

Im glad this activity is available, the atmosphere is quite easy and laid back, the hosts are nice and friendly. A description is posted on meet up and reservation is necessary so that everyone can be aware of expectations and the host ensures that everyone will have space, also so that the number of people in the group will be comfortable to accommodate.

They have won awards in several ceramics fairs abroad so the techniques you will learn are quite interesting.

I had a wonderful first experience at the Bangkok Ceramics and Pottery club last weekend (07/03). I attended with a coworker and we both had a great time chatting and creating our pottery pieces by hand. I’m looking forward to the next visit.

I went here with my partner to try some different pottery techniques, the organiser is really skilled and knows his stuff. Had a go on the potters wheel with his guidance and retuned a few weeks later once it was fired to do the glaze and try some other techniques. A great expeience and friendly group environment!

I wanted a pottery class for my child and informed this person about it but seems like he didn't have any experience dealing with children which he didn't find the need to tell me before.
No place to sit or wait. So if you are going there for your child you have to pay for yourself too because waiting there without paying is not possible.
They have a house where they run this service and there is one host who seems uninterested most of the time just looks at your work and guide you a bit if you bother him a lot.
There is no step by step learning or any formal teaching.
I went there once and couldn't bring anything because of the clay process (it has to be dried and cooked).

Overall poor experience.

I was so happy to find this ceramics meetup. Such a friendly atmosphere of creativity, after two visits I had a couple of dishes to show for it and really enjoyed chatting it up with both Thai and expat participants.
