Always buzzing gay bar. Highlight of Bangkok's nightlife. People watching haven. Opposite side of the road was the Telephone Bar. Now a new venue but the outside customers sit facing each other.

We went here 19 years ago and wanted to renew old memories. We are not a gay couple and it did not offend us that it is listed as gay, as it was very clean tidy and friendly.

Wouldn't recommend this place based on the staff, I was in the bar with my friends and the waiter named Max didn't serve me or take my order, he took my friends who were at the same table however, there was a table sat close to us who had the same issue and they said Max only serves white people (he had told them in Thai), he made this pretty clear, so we left.

Horrible place! Waiters rude and charge you 100baths for breaking accidentally a glass. Avoid that street if you want to save some money with you

I have been many times and was impressed with the way of their staff look after the customers.
The staff were so kind, friendly and easy to talk with beside, the atmosphere was great especially inside. The bartender was also very kind, nice and they were good at conversation. I enjoyed the food especially the spring rolls and the drinks so much that was so good and delicious. That was a good experience! I’ll come here again.

The waiters are reluctant to serve chinese customers and are racist. Food quality is below average.

I really like the Balcony bar. Great affordable foods and great music. The two bartenders there, Mark and Nuey work hard and are very pleasant to customers but there's a new wannabe bartender there that's very rude to customers. I think the management needs to reconsider his position there. Put him upstairsnot behind the bar. He escalates tensions and arguments.

A waiter named “Pom” tried to insert coins in my mouth, because I didn’t gave him a tip. It was too much and unbearable. This considered that is a big violation for me. I tried to find CC Cam just to get the evidence and report to the officers, sadly there wasn’t any around the bar. The manager tried to calm me down by saying that this guy will be immediately fired. So I’ll check around later for that!

First night here and decided to enjoy the evening. I had read some good reviews about the balcony bar so decided to go for drinks.
I had not yet finished my second drink when a waiter or maybe the boss came over and walked away with my reciptes.a little later another waiter came back with my bill.
I had not asked for the bill and was going to have another.
Rude and reuined my night I won't be going back.

Used to be great but gone downhill in recent years. Been going there since 2009, the bar staff used to be very entertaining. The oldest serving barman is now the opposite. He is very unfriendly. I stopped going here.: (

Fun people watching gay bar. Fun night being the only girl with the boys. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. They also service margarita jugs.:)

One of the better gay bars to drink, people watch, and have a little dance, have plenty of space.

We went here for karaoke. So at the second floor there's a big room with 2 screens and you can sing with pick songs from YouTube. But because you shared room with other guests each group have to turn the mic after 2 songs. Drinks starts from 70baht

Nice place. But avoid weekends when that show starts. U can not talk outside. Because they male the music so loud it is impossible to talk to each other. Staff not care at all when music is too loud. They not like it and close their ears. It is really painful outside.
When I wanna see that show I go inside. Outside I sit for drinks and talk. But impossible.
But other bars want my money as well. So bye

Terrible service. Offensive waiter who made assumptions about my boyfriend and demanded orders for drinks. I do not recommend this bar. The bar opposite to it, telephone, has much better service. HOWEVER, the manager was very friendly and apologized for the whole experience.

There is no DJ for the karaoke, it was unorganized and no one was serving drinks up there, go across the street.

Joyful gay pub full of happy slightly mature foreign tourists and Thai men. There is an earlier group who come to eat and relax around 8.00-10.00pm. And others who come later mostly to drink and socalise. Some stay on until closing but many move onto other venues in the area.
