Baan Kudichin Museum

Nice little museum, no entry fee. Tells the story of the Portuguese immigrants. Boards with explanations and the original furnishings on the upper floor. Nice café on the ground floor with friendly service. It's worth it if you're in the area anyway.

Small museum a bit hard to find but when arrived you find a worthy explanation of ti's historic Portuguese settlement where people around still speak Portuguese and are good Christians. In the houses around you see crucifix es and pictures of the virgin Mary and of the pope
Also you can eat around Portuguese inspired Thai dishes

Excellent museum telling the story of the Portuguese in Thailand, all in the actual village still inhabited by their descendants.

Super interestinf museum which explained the Portugese communities in Bangkok and in Thailand! Right outside of the cathedral and it had the coolest fact that it was the Portugese that brought spices and chilies to Thailand!

Beautiful museum about Portuguese settlement in Bangkok since the Great discovery period. The house is well presevered. It's an area of tranquility in Bangkok. You can enjoy a drink at the café in the ground floor.

Very interesting look into the history of the neighborhood and the Portuguese presence in Bangkok. This museum may be small but it packs in a LOT of great information. Also the cafe is great!

A home-like museum. The first stop before browsing the Kudi Chin community. The staff (owner) is very friendly and is active to answer your curiosity of the community's attractions. There are some Portuguese-like bites in the museum's cafe that you must try.

This museum runs by the owner who is a native Kudi Chin, the fifth generation. No official support from government institutions. Buying souvenirs, food & drink, and donation are very helpful.

Interesting, small, free museum about a different aspect of Thai history. Nice little cafe. Well worth stopping in for a restful hour.
