Anytime Fitness Riverside Plaza

I workout here since 2019 (back then it was Anytime fitness) and it always gives me a good vibes. This time, it’s probably the WORST EVER. I lost my gym that is 5 mins from my house without notice or anything.

The owner left everything with no clues. I hope it will open back with a really good hand of owner.

The owner is a liar. Prior to signing up, he said that the air condition is open during the night. Nonetheless, it isn’t, making it hard to breathe during the workout, especially since it’s in an enclosed space. I asked the owner, he said it’s the building who controls the aircon. I talked to the building’s maintenance team, they informed me that it is the gym owner who chooses to switch off the aircon to save costs. I texted the owner numerous times whether this issue can be resolved, not once has he ever answered.

Secondly, he treats his staff unfairly. They informed me that they receive less than 60 baht per hour for the personal training session when he charges over 800. This is greediness.

Thirdly, the gym closed without any notice even though myself and other members have paid for months and even years in advance. We have not received a refund.

I was staying at Avani Hotel which is above the Mall/Famous 24hr Fitness gym. I only found out about it on my last day before flying off to Krabi. This perfect as I'd travelled from London and needed a good workoutm

Anyway, cracking gym! Spacious, clean, well equipped and friendlly staff including the owner.

Suitable for bodybuilding.
Friendly English speaking staff.
Definitely worth a try!

I really like this gym very well, it’s clean and very tidy, PT (Field) is very good and he trains me and others very well. I have learnt lots of technique and feeling stronger after training with him.
Another PT also very good.

One of the better gyms in Thailand, all the right gear, plenty of space for functional training. Big weights, great layout, great staff and team!

Excellent gym with A grade equipment and facilities. Excellent staff with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. I am 1 month in and I am glad I signed up for a whole year. You will not be disappointed!

I like this place because It is 24 hours gym and the price is fair enough. On Charoen Nakhon road, this gym is big, clean, a lots with quality equipment, friendly staff and still inside the Riverside plaza, so it is a good area too. This place is not just a weight training zone but there are also community workout and it is fun.

Great place to hang out and get fit. Been a member for almost one year. Now it's part of my daily routine. Staff are warm and friendly, and the equipment is top-notch. Highly recommend to anyone in the area who's looking for a new place to better themselves!

This is a good gym that allows you to use these gyms around the world and as I travel a lot that's very handy.

A good gym. I used to be member of many fitness in Bangkok. I love this most. The place and all machine very clean which have cleaning often in the day.
And important thing. This gym have many classes Yoga, Pure power, Pure build, Pure burn and pound (all which i love). That’s improve my body to fit more. I can join and so enjoy.

Let’s get to a healthier place

As a long term resident in the area, I'm happy to see Anytime Fitness finally opens a branch here. I checked their instagram and facebook pages and spoke to their sales staff at Riverside Plaza. It looks impressive. Much bigger than any of their other branches I have visited in Malaysia and Singapore. I have had good experiences with Anytime Fitness because they are excellent at community building. I was told they target to open end of August 2019. To me a big plus is that there is plenty of parking space available and many restaurants in the same mall to grab a bite after my workout. I have heard that Riverside Plaza will be upgraded to a 24/7 mall with more restaurants and even a night club. I'm really looking forward to joining this new Anytime Fitness branch.
