Alt Hotel Nana by UHG

Good hotel in terms of overall service, rooms are clean although there was a bit of smell when we entered inside. The only thing I didn't like was that you can't open the windows. The bathroom are also very clean and room very spacious. We get free breakfast as well. Better vegetarian breakfast compared to other hotels in Thailand. Management and reception people were also supportive and polite. They also allow friends to come for short time.

Overall going to have this place a bit of a lower rating due to a few reasons.

Firstly if you are looking for a place close to bars then this is for you. Seems to have a lot going on locally and the place was loud most nights.usually around 9: 30pm the hotel seemed to get more foot traffic. If you are an early riser and are staying in Bangkok to sight see and explore maybe book somewhere close to the university or over near the flower market on the river.

The hotel was okay it was really clean had a laundry literally downstairs and small shops right underneath you also which was super convenient. The breakfast wasn't bad at all and had plenty of variety just quality seemed to be up and down.

My air conditioning unit had numerous issues over 3 days and kept on leaking and not cooling properly, but besides that it wasn't a bad stay at all.

As stated above though if you have tours and things planned I wouldn't stay here as I could hear everything through the walls at times it felt like the people in the next room were in my room.

The suites are in a separate building and have a balcony. They are very clean and their price is reasonable. It is a 15-minute walk from Nan Street and a 5-minute drive. I liked the quietness and cleanliness of the place.

The service from the hotel management is pathetic and the hotel has bare minimum amenities. Rooms are small and pool area is extremely cunjested.

Excellent hotel, strategic location for various trips. Abundant sweet and savory breakfast, excellent cappuccino. Very kind staff

Wie immer perfekt gelaufen, sehr hilfreiches Personal, gutes Englisch und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Frühstück der reichhaltig. Die Lage ist toll, zentral aber sehr ruhig.

The location is great, 5min to walk to Nana, but surprisingly quiet. Free shuttle service for customers to the head (Sukhumvit) of soi4
Friendly, helpful staff, the let me in although Agoda cancelled my booking. They even gave me the same conditions
Room is perfect, pool is small but nice, has drinks (from selling point machine) for low prices, gym is well equipped. 10 out of 10

Hotel is far from market. Congested rooms.
They switched off the ACs in midnight.
Tasteless breakfast.
Small swimming pool for name sake. Staying not good for couples.

So this hotel does the job, the staff are amazing, cannot be faulted.
The rooms are OK enough, they are a bit dated, my junior suite had enough room to swing multiple cats ha. The Air Con is probably about as loud as an A380 during take off, my best nights sleep was wearing earplugs. The bed was very comfortable to me, I am 6 foot 2 and like a mattress on the firm side.
The location of this hotel is an odd one, it is quite far down the road away from all the action, however the hotel runs a brilliant shuttle service straight to the top of the main road where you can either take a 2 minute walk to the BTS train station Nana to get anywhere in Bangkok or you can frequent the bars outside Nana Plaza, this place has an amazing busy atmosphere at night, I would not recommend bringing under 18's to this area however, book somewhere near Siam Station.
The hotel does have some interesting neighbours straight opposite the front of the hotel, there are lots of people living in tin shacks in a gated compound that love to party, they keep to themselves but don't mind making noise, take from that what you may.

Location is very poor. 1km from the BTS to hotel, walking via red light area, unsafe for families. Hard to get grab taxi too. So many U turns to reach terminal 21. Avoid this hotel if your after convenience

Like most value hotels in Bkk, tucked up a side alley but still good value and a tuktuk shuttle that drops you into the busy Nana nightlife. Staff friendly and nithing too much trouble.

Our hotel stay (family) was very peaceful.
I paid half the amount of price shown on agoda with free breakfast. The room was small and had all the facilities. It was comfortable.
The staff is friendly and they even offered me late checkout 5pm because room was not ready at 3pm when i was trying to checkin.
I would recommend to visit a park nearby this hotel in the morning around 8am and in the evening enjoy the as usual sukhumvit night life.
From airport, taxi driver charged me 180 baht + Toll charges (75) + Airport Pickup (20) + Additional luggage (20)
Lastly, breakfast was good, it was not a large menu but good enough in terms of price i paid to book with free breakfast. And they had vegetarian option as well.

Great little hotel, location is the best. A great tuk tuk service. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful stay there and going back in the new year.

Rooms are spacious. Some water leak on the balcony when it rains. But service is very good. Very nice and helpfull staff. Free tuk tuk service along the street
