Al Meroz Hotel Bangkok

It is very comfortable and cosy place to stay for our three nights vacation in Bangkok City. Definitely we recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice, but there are drawbacks: it is far from everything, activities, events, and public places, and the bed is not comfortable, but the service and place are beautiful.

2 starts 1 for the room change due to unworkable air conditioner the other one for the service. Actually looks good outside but inside is quite old and uncomfortable beds will never stay in again, bad experience for me.

A decent halal hotel with a big, nice lobby. The room is spacious. There are connecting rooms, with King bed & twin beds. Our rooms look a bit old with wooden furniture. Overall, it's ok. Bottled water & toothbrush provided. The Wi-Fi connection is just good for browsing. There is a good variety of food for breakfast. I like the cakes and pancakes. The chocolate cake & caramel cake sold at the lobby are pretty good. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There is a halal Sofia cafe just outside the hotel, only 1-2 minutes walk. There are no nearby malls. The train station is quite a walk, to me is a little far. Ramkhamheng night market is about 10 min drive from hotel.

Attention to the Gulf people, be careful when you book this hotel. They asked for an imaginary amount of 640 baht without any reason when checking out. Oh God, I have reached, Oh God, I bear witness. A very bad hotel.

The hotel room is spacious and is clean. However, it is too far away from the city and the iconic places in Bangkok.

A wonderful hotel suitable for Arab Muslim tourists, because it contains a mosque and the Qur’an, and all its items are halal, and it is somewhat close to most commercial complexes. I recommend it

Our stay here for 5-days & 4 nights in mid July was pretty decent enough for us to not switch out. Upon arrival, the entrance at the front lobby is awe inspiring, love the floor to ceiling entry doors. We arrived for a late check-in and the the staff was nice and polite. The marble flooring throughout the lobby gives off luxury and the main column in the middle of the also lends itself to that as well. With the esthetics of the lobby, we just knew the rooms would be equally as elegant. Not so much, the carpet can stand a deep cleaning due to its sullenness and highly visible stains. The furniture could use some updating as there were a lot of scratches and chipped/missing paint in a lot of areas. The room was booked for 2 people and inside the closet there was a single pair of slippers to match non-existing robes. There was no iron or ironing board supplied, there was fridge but no microwave. No microwaves on the property for guest use period. They don’t supply small washcloths but that just might be attributed to the region we are visiting. The phone on our night stand did not work, we had to use the one next to the toilet. Internet was shoddy & intermittent which may have contributed to the tv blinking out every 10 seconds. We couldn’t enjoy the tv at all.

The linens & towels were changed daily. The teapot supplied could not be used, well by my standards, as it was white and the dirty filter grossed me out, so could not enjoy any tea/coffee in the room (check the photo).

You can opt in to their daily buffet breakfast which has no pork as it is a halal establishment. The selections were decent they just didn’t have sufficient vegetarian/vegan options.

It’s at least 30 minutes from the city center and traffic in Thailand worse than in New York (nothing to do with the hotel) so if you stay here and you are venturing out always factor the traffic into your travels.

The hotel is spacious. Very good lobby, instagramable. Their restaurant is very good. Serve excellent food. We dine in their restaurant the Diwan Restaurant. Very cozy. Higly recommended.

Close to the Islamic Center and central mosque. Convenient location, especially for muslim travelers. Lots of halal stalls and restaurants, within walking distance from the hotel, selling local and international food.

I did not stay here but had lunch here. All foods were great! The restaurant served halal food, clean and the staff always refill the food. Maybe, next journey will try to stay here.

I went there for the end of month (maybe) to have lunch with my family for the first impression is starting with a warm good welcoming by the customer service at the enter of restaurant he invites me with best regards.
Second about the restaurant decoration is contemporary central Asia and model, comfortable chair and good smell. The last about food tastes. For my reservation is lunch with international buffet (mostly is Arabian and central Asia food) the taste is international standards for my opinion is they designed for every one can reserve it, not to be a quiet tang tart or not so spicy as well.

The room provided was clean, neat and well maintained. The room also had a prayer mat and a Quran set.

The breakfast provided was reasonably priced, and they had an excellent spread. In addition to their wide spread of western and local delights, they had Japanese (Sushi Maki) and North Indian (Roti, Dhal Makhni and Prawn Masala) cuisines.

Although it is a little further away from the popular tourist areas (20 mins to Pratunam area and 30+ mins to Chatuchak Weekend Market), I would definitely recommend this hotel. Taxis are readily available, and the MRT (Ramkhanghaeng Station) is only a 5 minutes walk away. There is a 7-11 located conveniently opposite the hotel too.

This is one of the best Muslim hotels in Bangkok. The rooms are clean, pretty big according to the pricing. The staffs are very friendly and helps with everything. However, the buffet price in the morning is very pricey according to the quality they serve. Sometimes they put just something that was spared the previous day, you will be able to tell when you eat it. Also, they really need to put a bit variety. We were there for almost 15 days and everyday ate the same thing with quality going down and down. Also the bathroom is tiny, not a big problem but their is no handwash in the toilet! This is a very big problem. If they improve these things, they'll be the best.
