Booked a table for 4 at 8.30, handled efficiently. Arrived about 10 minutes early and seated immediately. Busy, as it was a Friday night but order taken quickly and food and drink arrived within ten minutes. 2 pasta dishes (ravioli and strozzapreti with pesto) and 1 pizza Rimini. Pizza was very good and tasty with a good thin crust but red sauce was either a bit wet or too much as it started to go soggy quickly. Tasted great though. Unfortunately the pasta was a let down as the pesto was totally unseasoned and didn't even taste of basil and the ravioli was the same as well as being wet again, as if the pasta hadn't been drained properly before adding the sauce. The previous two times we have been the food has been excellent so we were disappointed that it didn't reach the same standard tonight. Perhaps just an off night? The staff here are also a bit 'off' as well. Efficient and well trained but there is no warmth in what they do. Just the basics. Anyway, we ate all the food so there really was nothing to complain about to the manager/owner who has been present on both previous occasions clearly is a good chef and owner, maybe he wasn't there tonight.

Authentic Italian restaurant in Bangkok. Food is absolutely delicious and prepared by an Italian chef, so is true to its roots. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and more than willing to cater to but allergies (this was very difficult to find in Bangkok). Arabbiatta pasta and Margherita and Diavola pizzas were all delicious. Pricey but worth it as the food is very good (and it is especially worth it if you have allergies and cannot find anywhere else).

Great Italian place in Bangkok. The pizzas were amazing with great crust and flavours. Service was very friendly and the staff were very helpful with my partner's nut allergy, letting us know which dishes were okay for us to eat (we had pizza with pepperoni). While a little on the expensive side it's definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend.

A real corner of little Italy in Bangkok. Tasty, filling and acceptable at Bangkok prices. The owner is Italian. Interesting character. We will definitely go back there again. Gracious.

We have been here twice, the first time many months ago when we stumbled across the place with no reservation and were kindly squeezed in for a memorable meal with good wine and amazing authentic food. We have been back in Bangkok since and decided to come with more people, again the experience was delightful, great Italian food cooked to amazing standards and again well priced wine, the only thing I would slightly object to, is that we did feel the staff wanted to clear away plates as quickly as possible so as they could either get our desert order (which we did order) or get us out so that they could get another table in. My plate was cleared away whilst I was still eating the last piece of pizza.

Top marks for both the pizza and the pasta! The pizza base was crispy and airy, just as it should be. The pasta was slightly on the al dente side, with super fresh ingredients for maximum flavour and mouth feel. Friendly service and a cool location, too - on a busy corner. Sitting here is like being transplanted to an alternate universe, one with a slice of Italy in the frantic streets of Bangkok. Thank you

The building itself is charming and has been well renovated. Was sat on the upper floor and probably could have been a bit less bright for the cosy atmosphere.
Service was attentive but not overbearing.
Bottle of red (allegrini la bragia) was good value for BKK.
Eggplant parm and Parma ham pizza were good. Standout for me was the strozzapretti with sausage and truffle.
Tiramisu was a little of a let down. Wasn't enough savoiardi, just single layer and was lacking in flavour. Way too much cream as well.
Overall though, very good meal.

Excellent, charming Italian conveniently located! The owner is friendly and welcoming. The food is high quality. I went on 6 May, Saturday night, for dinner with 3 friends. We sat upstairs. We ordered pizza, pasta and a salad. All were great.especially the pasta arrabiata! I lived in Bangkok for 5 years and was visiting on holiday this time and found this gem.so glad I did!

กับอีกเรื่องคือ พนักงานชอบแอบฟัง แค่พูดเบาๆกันในโต๊ะว่าเอาน้ำเพิ่มไหม? หรือสั่งไรอีกดี? พนักงานก็เดินเข้ามาชาร์ต พร้อมยื่นเมนูให้เลย บางทีอยากได้ความเป็นส่วนตัวนิดนึง ถ้าต้องการจะเรียกหาเองจะสะดวกใจกว่า

My friend and I were looking for a good Italian spot in Bangkok that is authentic, with a great wine collection and won’t break the bank, and this place ticks all the boxes.
Food - Amazing Italian goodness. Had Baghino Pizza, Costini Milanesa, Spaghetti Amore and Crema Catalan & Tiramisu. ALL good!
Wine - Prosecco as starter and we had a bottle of Italian white.
Staff - Really attentive to your needs and able to remember every detail of your requests. We met the owner and he is such a wonderful chef.
A definite gem in Bangkok!

Ailati is the best Italian food in town! I used to live in Italy and this food reminds me of Vicenza.

Amazing place, the best Italian cuisine in Thailand by far.
And they have fresh and real basil.
The gnocchi alla sorentina is very recommended

Wonderful pizza, thin crust, full of flavour, cooked to perfection. Ask them to cut it in 4 pieces instead of 8 if you like to fold it Philadelphia style. The chili oil is made in house. Extensive menu including vegetarian and vegan choices. 8 seats outside, 13 inside on the main level (including window/counter seats) and another 30 upstairs. Book on busier nights like weekends and holidays. Service is friendly and the owner supervises to make sure everything runs well. Remember that on holidays in Thailand no liquor/beer/wine can be served.

Nice find in this neighbourhood. Friendly and attentive, tasty Italian. Fine selection of Italian wine.

Amazing Italian food in the centre of Bangkok. Beautiful little restaurant with delicious food. We came back twice!

An awesome first experience through Grabfood with these uncommon Italian dishes - relatively rare as compared to the usual bruschetta and spaghetti, ravioli etc.

Crostino is like a thin slice of focaccia with crispy edges. Good amount of mozzarella and toppings.

Strozzapretti is a thicker short pasta. Pesto is done so well - good flavour, consistency and fragrance. Pasta is a tad too al dente for my weak Asian jaws, but it also means the taste lingers and grows more while I chew more. Wish I could request for chilli flakes, that would have brought it up one more notch.

Great place for pasta. I went there by accident and was very happy with food. Pasta was cooked perfectly and food was well spiced. For appetizer, main dish and drink I paid $20.
I picked food based on the staff recommendation. Food quality and service is impressive, totally worth the price. Food was served fast.

Amazing pasta and very good service!
They make the pastas cooked well and the sauce is very good.
We're vegetarian and the vegetarian dishes were good.
Expensive but you got good food for your invest.
