1Sabai Hostel

It's hard to beat this hostel's location and hospitality. Located near Asok BTS, Terminal 21 and Soi cowboy, you're able to find much around of interest and also go further if need be. The hostel itself is very much like a home: if you want to chill out, you can peacefully do so. There are cats to play with, a full blown map of what to do around Bangkok, and the staff are kind sisters who are more than happy to help should you need some advice. Don't expect a party hostel, rather a place to just be. I've been here years before and shall come back again as I always end up staying longer than I expected.

Staff was friendly. Reception is at the 3rd floor so you have to call them to check in since the door downstairs is equipped with smart lock. I've booked for a private room which is actually nice but one of the toilet door is not fixed.: (

Pros: Location/price is great! Close to Terminal 21 (where there's cheap food) and the train station. Wifi worked great in the twin room and there isn't a lot of noise you can hear coming from the street. Staff are friendly and very helpful! Security is great (cameras and smart lock at the entrance). Kitchen has bowls, plates, utensils, etc. Lockers are available as well. There are two cute, sneaky cats (one black and the other white and orange) who love to try and get outside of the check-in area! There's a washer and the hostel provides detergent.

Cons: Bathrooms, toilets, and showers, were dirty. (Every hotel/hostel all have some cleaning/health problem since Covid). One of the locks to the toilet was broken. When we got transferred to the double room we originally booked, the person who stayed in there previously left hair on the side of the mirror (very weird vibes here). The wifi in the double room is horrible. It works better when the door is open. You can hear every car and motorbike that passes in the double room. The fastest way to Terminal 21 is by walking through Soi Cowboy, which made me very uncomfortable. There was a bit of construction as well during our stay and trash piled up quickly. Only stairs here so if you have big or heavy stuff be prepared for a workout! I also got sick during our stay here. If you need to print something, go to Asok Printing! It's 2 baht/page.

Our room was ok AC was working properly and the bed was comfy. Problem is with everything else other then a room. The place is dirty with milions of showergels shampoos etc clattering the bathrooms, bins overflowing with used toilet paper in the toilets, bin in the kitchen area was like a pyramid full of rubbish. It s a shame because there is enough people working there and if it was clean it could be one of the best hostels but it s just lacking the cleaningness and care.

One of the closest hostels to most happening place in Bangkok. From here dance bars, metros are nearby and you get easily the taxis available and also 7/1. At walkable distance

Our stay here was lovely. First place we arrived too and everyone was so welcoming. Great location to explore some of Bangkok! Great price and comfy stay. Definitely recommend

Very homely and relaxed space. 10/10 value for money. Friendly and helpful staff with the cats adding to the cosy atmosphere as they wander around in the common area before disappearing. Good location - 10 minute walk to the metro and close to skytrain. Also 10 minute walk to soi cowboy, if you want to see that

Pretty homey. Not a big fan of cats but the receptionist were nice and overall the place suited me fine.

Great location! You can go anywhere from this area since its so close to the underground railway (MRT) and the Sky Train (BTS). Great food, massages, parties and anything else close by. Staff is great too, very informative and friendly! They really make it feel like a home away from home. Lockers to keep belongings safe, kitchen for cooking, laundry machine, free water, A. C.rooms, cheap private rooms, great lounge area, love this place!

I love this place! You feel like home here! They got everything you need. Staff are nice. Also they have 4 cats. If you're cat person, don't miss this hostel

If you love cats. You will feel so welcomed in this place. We were a group of 12 and the hostel was able to accommodate us in one room with double deck beds. Very good value for money this place.

Cozy and sympathic hostel with cute cats and a balcony. Washing machine and kitchen is another plus. Great for travellers, backpackers or longstayers.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at many thanks to the owner Ellie. I had a terrible experience at a neighbouring hostel and was in a bad mental space and Ellie took me in and showed me nothing but kindness and ex ellent hospitality. She bent over backwards to ensure my safety and wellbeing and she felt like family to me. Great value for money, comfortable common spaces, and very helpful service. Room is nice. It's not far from BTS and MRT if you like to exercise by walk, you got it for sure. Lol

Das Hostel war sehr entspannt und optimal um sich zu sammeln und voller Energie in den Tag zu starten.

The hostel is so cozy and the owner is really nice. She will try to do everything to help you. The hostel is very near to goth BTS and metroline and its really quality/price match. Its not a party hostel so you can really chill when you want to. Go there!

I stayed yesterday one night in isabai hostel, it’s was really amazing experience with them, Beds are large, neat and clean rooms toilets, they provide water paste face wash etc.

Especially there are few staffs are working from overseas, one girl from Vietnam and one foreigner couple and two Thai girls. All staffs are very kind especially that Vietnam girl.

I recommend to everyone to stay there for pleasant holiday in Bangkok. I must visit again there. Thanks for everything dear isabai hostel team.

Amazing place with a perfect chill vibe. If you're a cat person this place is heaven. They have at least 7 indoor cats that chill in the lobby (including 3 new born kittens when i came). Amazing staff (thank you angel!). Clean and really homie
